Chapter 4

Nessa

After the pool incident, I stayed the hell away from the garden. I loved spending time with Danny, we really were the best of friends. I could really be having a great time with all of the O'Donoghue's. I love Ailish. She is a really sweet mum. Danny and I did some photography stuff together, talking about black and white film and more art we liked.

I didn't heard a thing from my own family. Looks like they forgot me. Or they just didn't want to text me or be with me. Danny noticed that there was something off.

'What's the matter?', he asked when we were sitting on the couch watching tv. 'It's my family, they haven't called or texted me happy Christmas days or something, I expected at least something from my mother', I said sad. 'I'm sorry to hear that, it's a good thing that you are here now, I can provide some distraction', Danny said with a wink. That made me laugh.

'Hey you two', Ian said as he sat down next to me. 'Hey', I said with a smile. I really started to like Ian. He is a good brother from Danny. 'Boooom, look who are in the house!', a voice said. 'Oh I forgot, Mark and Glen are coming too, they both bring there kids along, you ready to meet my mates?', Danny asked. 'What... hell yeah, did you forgot that I am a massive fan...', Danny said. 'I can't promise I behave', I said with a smile.

'You must be this girl he talks about all the time, damn your beautiful', Mark said smiling and he hugged me. 'Nessa', I said with a smile. 'Nice to meet you Nessa', Mark said. 'Did you and I saw each other before?', Glen asked suddenly. 'Aviva stadium Dublin', I grinned. 'Really you were there?', Glen asked. 'Yup front row with Adi', I said. 'Woah that is pretty cool', Glen said. 'Can't believe you recognize me from that', I said. 'Haha me neither, Dan you've got a hot girlfriend, why don't you take her with ya to the theme party tomorrow', Mark said. 'Told ya she is not my girlfriend, she is a friend, my best friend', Danny said clearly annoyed by his two friends. 'Did you just said something about a theme party', I asked changing the subject. 'Yeah, it's always first Christmasday at the O'Donoghue's, then it's at Marks place, this year it's fairytale creatures, one of Marks children came up with that', Glen explained. 'Oow then we better shop tomorrow Dan, I'm not sure which creature I wanna be', I said. 'I can't go shopping tomorrow, I always help Mark, besides, I want to be surprised by ya costume babe', Danny said. 'Babe... again with the 'babe' not your babe', I said rolling with my eyes. He laughed. 'Hahaha girl you are missing something', Danny said flirting. I saw Andi in the corner rolling her eyes for Dan. 'Andi, fancy a shopping trip?', I asked. 'Yeah sure, it's been a long time', Andi said. 'It sure is', I said.

Andi and I shopped in the centre of Dublin while she was questioning me about Danny. I knew that she needed to ask me.

'So what do you want from my brother?', Andi asked. 'What do I want from your brother, we are friends Andi, we both made a promise that we would stay friends', I said. 'Even though you are friends with benefits', Andi said. 'Who told you that... Danny', I said knowing it before I said it. 'He did, I made him promise he won't screw up, because I never want to take a side from either one of you, your my sister, he's my brother, please promise me the same?', Andi said. 'I promise you the same Andi, I really do, I love you too much for screwing it up', I said. 'Good, so lighter subject from the day, what will your costume be', Andi asked. 'I'm going as a vampire, always wanted to do that, you?', I asked. 'Fairy, I look good with wings on', Andi said with a wink. 'Who are you trying to impress?', I asked. 'No one...', Andi said to fast. 'Seriously, I do not believe you for a second Andi, spill it out now', I said.

'Fine, but don't get mad at you because I just gave you a whole speech about you and my brother while I am doing the exact same thing... well I don't do it yet, obviously...', Andi said. 'Andi! You like Glen!', I said. 'Ssssh the whole world doesn't need to hear it', Andi said. 'Wow... oh man, it's my turn to give you a speech now, you deserved it, admit it', I said. 'Fine, I deserve it', Andi said. 'Go for it', I said. 'What?', Andi said. 'Go for it, he is single, cute, hot, sweet and he would be crazy not to love you and a lucky man if he has you', I said. 'Aaaw you are so sweet Ness, I might be a little harsh about you and my brother, but are you guys in love, because you two would make a great couple, and I see that Danny flirts with you all the time, the way he looks at you means something, you should pay better attention to his looks', Andi said.

'We made it clear from the beginning that we would have sex, but we wouldn't be dating, we wouldn't be one of those classic couples that will end up in a fight because we have feelings for each other, we want to be better then that', I said. 'You are better then that, but if you have feelings for my brother you should go for it, he isn't going to remain single for that long and when he goes on tour you won't see him everyday anymore', Andi said. 'I don't... I really don't know what I feel sometimes, it's messing with my head. But then I think, why would he want me, I'm damaged goods Andi, no good for him, the last guy I've been with called me 'emotional damaged', I said. 'That was Frank, he didn't even knew how to kiss properly, he doesn't count as a boyfriend', Andi said. 'I've dated him for a year, I've wasted a whole year with him', I said.

Andi and I returned to the house O'Donoghue where as it turns out half of the family already went to Marks house. Andi and I went to change in her room. We did our make-up together. We looked awesome at the end as we said so ourselves. My vampire teeth were crazy badass. I had like a Dracula sexy outfit on, a cape over the sexy ladies lingerie from Victoria Secret and very high heels, black. My hair was in a knot and I was wearing a necklace.

'Wow girl, if Danny doesn't fall for you now', Andi said with a chuckle. 'Then we did something wrong, you are the most sexy fairy I have ever seen', I said to Andi. She laughed and we both were heading over to Marks house who lived on walking distance.

I needed to post something. I needed to write for distraction. As you all know now, mum is at the hospital, turns out she has pneumonia and her kidney's don't work as the doctors want them to work. I still hope you find this chapter good, because it's the worst I wrote so far. Just couldn't find the engergy to pick up my laptop the last couple of days. Much love to all of you. xxx
