Chapter 15

Nessa

I avoided Ian a a bit those next few days. The day came I had to go to the agent of Danny. He wished me the best of luck by a Skype call. I couldn't help but feel guilty about the kiss I shared with Ian. I knew that it didn't meant anything, but still. A kiss was a kiss. It was eating me alive.

I walked downstairs to grab my coat as I bumped into Ian. 'Hey, can we talk?', Ian asked. 'Well... no I am actually late', I said nervously. 'For what?', Ian asked. 'Interview with Danny's agent, for Andi and mine photographer's job', I explained. 'Oow cool, so you are going to work for my little brother?', Ian asked. 'Possible', I said. 'Well it will be quick, please I have to say a few things that bothered me a lot the last few days', Ian said. 'Fine, make it fast then', I said. 'Are you coming?', Andi asked. 'I am coming in a minute okay, just Ian needs to talk to me for a minute', I said. 'Does it have to be now', Andi asked. 'Ask him', I said. 'Does it have to be now Ian, we are already late', Andi said. 'Are we? Shit, sorry Ian, this has to wait', I said and I grabbed my coat and walked outside. 'What is going on with the two of you?', Andi asked surprised. 'Nothing', I said a little bit too fast. 'No... you didn't', Andi said looking at my face. 'He did... I didn't knew how to react so I pushed him away, that is why I have been avoiding him all week', I said. 'Oooh man, Ian he did it again', Andi said more to herself then to me. 'What do you mean?', I asked. 'Oh shit... well Danny's last girlfriend got close to him as well, Ian made a move on her, it took Danny a long time to forgive Ian for what he did, only Irma didn't pushed him away like you did, Ian and Irma dated for a few weeks in secret, like a secret affair, left Danny heartbroken, later well I think you know that story, Irma left him too, leaving both of the O'Donoghue brothers at war with each other and it took a long time for Danny to trust Ian again', Andi said. 'That is why Ian doesn't want to tell Danny', I said. I swallowed. 'Ooh Andi this all my fault, if I wasn't so emotional that day he wouldn't have done it I think, I am usually a strong woman, but he went to my family with me and I think because I looked weak he was in the moment or something, I don't know, I didn't want any of this to happen', I said.

'Calm down Nessa, no one is mad at you, I am mad at Ian, which asshole kisses his brothers girlfriend twice! I can't believe he didn't learned from the last time, he should find himself a girlfriend instead of snogging others', Andi said and she started the car and we drove to Micha, the agent.

'Goodmorning, you must be Andi, Danny's sister', Donna the secretary asked. 'That's me', Andi said with a smile. 'You look like him, you have his eyes', she said with a smile. 'You look in his eyes a lot?', Andi asked with a smile. 'I try not too, you must be his girlfriend then, I've read all about you, Nessa?', she asked. 'That is me', I said. 'Ah Andi!', Micha said with a smile. 'Micha how are you', Andi said. 'Good thank you, you must be Nessa, the girlfriend Danny declared his love for in public recently', Micha said. 'Yup that would be me', I said.

We walked in his office which was beautiful by the way. 'Wow things changed since the last time I was here', Andi said. 'It's all because of Danny, Mark and Glen, they are making it now, meaning I get a large office and a higher pay grade', Micha said proudly. 'Cool', Andi said. 'But that isn't why you guys came, you both want to be photographers of the lads, I don't think that this would be a problem, but Nessa, I have to ask, are you ready for diving into the world of fame, most girls Danny had loved didn't end that well because of the fame and the travelling', Micha said. 'Well I am not most girls, I love to travell and I photograph everything, I love Danny so it won't be a problem to travell with him, it would be a dream', I said. 'The pay grade is very low, I must warn you both for that', Micha said. 'I don't mind, I just want to be with Danny and make memories with the guys and for the guys', I said. Andi nodded. 'Me too, recently I have been in a relationship with Glen, and he would really love it if his personal photographer came along', Andi said with a smile. 'I can't see why not, I checked your CV and that is really impressive, both of you. You did something in the mustic industry before Nessa?', Micha asked. 'Yes, I worked with Ed Sheeran, he is my long time friend since the crib', I said. 'Aaaw that's adoreble, I've seen your work and it's good, so is yours Andi, I say you both have the job, if you could only sign this form and fill it in with your bank account number so we can transfer the paycheck it will all be fine, you both are on try-out for a year, it's standard for us to do that first, but both of your contracts can be longer without problems', Micha said. 'Do I need to sign now, I always take a little bit of time to read the contract', Andi said. 'Good idea, you can send the form to this address, you girls are hired', Micha said. 'Thank you Micha', Andi said and she gave him a hand and so did I.

'Smart of you to read this contract first before you sign it, I always need time to read it as well', I said. 'Just take time to make your choices hun', Andi said. 'What do you mean?', I asked. 'You know, about everything', Andi said. 'I don't know what you mean, I really want to be with Danny, I love him, I meant what I said you know', I said. 'I know that, I want to work with you so badly, I want you and Danny to be happy, know that, but also know that I am very protective about my baby brother', Andi said. 'I know that Andi, I can't hurt him, he is the world to me', I said.

We left the building and went back home. Ailish asked if we got the job. 'Well?', she said. 'We got the job, we just have to sign and then we are leaving for joining them on tour', Andi said. 'Yeah, I knew you both could do it', Ailish said and she hugged Andi and then me until we both nearly choked.

'Can I talk to you now?', Ian asked. 'No Ian, I have nothing to say to you... I know what you want to talk about, but I love Danny, there is nothing you can say or do to change that', I said in the hall. Hoping that Ailish wasn't listening with us. 'Leave the girl alone Ian', Andi said. 'Look, I would love to stay friends with you, but things need to go back to normal first and I need to tell Danny, both my parent's story and the fact that you kissed me', I said. 'You kissed me back, I felt it', Ian said. 'Then you felt wrong, because I don't know, but did I not send a message when I pushed you away', I said. 'No... you kissed me back', Ian said. 'Ian... I didn't, please get over it, better for all of us', I said. 'You heard her Ian', Andi said sharp. 'Stay out of it Andi, this is not your conversation', Ian said. 'You are right, this conversation is over', I said and I went back to my room with Andi.

'Was he like that with Irma?', I asked. 'I don't know, Ian can be controlling, holding on to things that aren't his to keep', Andi said. 'Oh Andi, I feel so guilty, I need to book my flight now, I need to tell Danny the truth about what happend, by the way he would react to me will be my decision to sign the contract', I said.

Oh oh. Will she sign the contract. How would Danny react... Yet to come in the next chapter guys. Going to start with writing it today. Don't know if I would be able to post it today. But I'm going to try. Hope you like the plot twist with Ian kissing Nessa.
