Chapter 21: Road Rage

"Alright, listen. We figured out what may have happened" Deacon said as Hondo and Luca came in through the enormous front doors.

Deacon, Luca, Buck, Hondo and Roger, the hotel security manager, huddled in the entrance. Buck had secured the singer back to her room and came down as soon as he heard the news.

"Where's Rubio?" Luca interrupted

"I got one of my guys stay with him, but he's pretty shaken up." Roger answered

"I'll stay with him, you guys find her!" Buck volunteered, as he moved out

"So, what happened?" Hondo asked

"You'll never guess. Let's walk." Deacon said as he guided the guys towards the elevator. He continued, "Camera shows Chris staring at the direction of the elevator because Street was in it with the flight attendant, lady named Katie."

DING

"Oh my God!" Luca said grabbing his head as all four stepped into the elevator

"What in the hell?" Hondo lamented

"Yeah. The camera then shows her going to the bathroom, where she makes quite a mess. Nobody came in and out during the time she was there. So, the blood must've been caused-" he began as he placed the key card in the security slot

"By her own fists!" Hondo finished as the doors closed and Deacon hit 7

"She must be devastated." Luca said, then angrily added, "Street's a damn idiot!"

"That boy aint thinking straight. Where's he now?" Hondo asked

"That's where it gets worse. Cameras caught him going into her room and closing the door. Been there ever since."

GASP

"I can't believe him!" Luca said angrily

"What about her?" Hondo asked

"Last time the camera gets her she's running out of the bathroom and into the back stairs. What I can't figure out is how did she know where to go? Because our location and rooms are not disclosed. Right?" Deacon asked turning towards Roger

"No, sir."  said the security manager shaking his head

"Well, then, how did she figure out where to go?" Deacon asked

"Oh no! Oh no! God no!" Luca lamented, "Where was Street before he ended up with the lady?" all four men stepped outside

"Bartender says he served him ginger ale before they went out." Roger answered

"What are you thinking, Luca?" Hondo asked turning to Luca, who was grabbing his head

"I know, Chris! She's smart. She must've figured out that the bar was the only thing opened and that he probably met her there. I'm sure if we ask for the phone records they'll show her calling the bar and getting the information of the guests, especially is she used her badge."

"She's must've figured out there room." Hondo added

"We're here!" Deacon said

DING

As the doors swung opened, loud screams were heard. None of the voices were recognizable and the language was foreign to them. The three SWAT officers immediately got in position and in formation, as they excited the elevator. When they turned the corner into the corridor, they noticed the loud noises where coming from a group of four Asian women who were approaching the elevators.
