The Rainforest Kingdom, West Edge:
Kinkajou was in shock. She was kidnapped by Nightwings, and took down the most powerful dragon in the world. However, that was nothing compared to what she saw.
There were two green dragons with leaf shaped wings and a gold and black dragon wrestling a dragonet away from a blackberry bush. There was also a lavender and blue dragon talking with a dark blue dragon with orange splotches on him and a pearl green dragon watching the dragonet, clearly trying not to laugh.
"Ahem" said Qibli, stepping into the clearing. The dragons looked up, surprised, and the dark blue and orange dragons immediately stopped talking.
"My name is Swordtail. To what do we owe this pleasure of you bringing a random dragon into our midst?" He asked, Qibli who laughed slightly.
"This is Kinkajou," He said, gesturing to her.
"Hello! Who are you?" Kinkajou asked. "Talons and tails," said the gold one. "You must be a Rainwing, please tell me how you camouflage yourself?! Is it hard? What's it like being able to change colors?"
Kinkajou took a small step back, her brain being overloaded with questions.
The blue dragon put his talon on the gold one's. They must be a couple, she realized, although the gold one wasn't that old...so how does she have a dragonet?
There must be a story behind that, she thought.
She would have to ask later, but for now she had to focus on meeting the new dragons.
"Oh, sorry!" the dragon said. "I ask to many questions sometimes, I'm trying to work on it...my name is Cricket, this is Blue!" she said, pointing to the blue dragon.
"He certainly is," Qibli responded coyly, which earned an amused look from the dragon named 'Blue'.
"This is Luna." she said gesturing to the blue and green dragon.
Oh...they must also be a couple! Kinkajou realized.
"This is Sundew and Willow." Another couple, my guess. I wonder if Moon is hearing this, considering I'm not wearing my bracelet. Then again..poor Moon. She's having to hear all these thoughts.
" And this is Bumblebee." She said, pointing to the dragonet who was shouting.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SNNNNNUUUUUUDDDDOOOOO!"
"You know perfectly well how to say I'm hungry," said Sundew. "You just want my attention as usual."
"Eeeeeee!" said the dragonet, flopping over Crickets shoulder.
"Nice to meet you! I'm Kinkajou, although you probably already know that!"
"Nice to meet you, Kinkajou," said Cricket. "Your friends have told us all about you."
"Wait, you knew they were here?!" Kinkajou exclaimed semi-angrily, upset they would keep this from her. "Yes..." said Winter, slowly. "We know you've been dying to meet the Pantalian heroes."
"So, we thought that while we meet up it would be fun to introduce you to them!" Moon chimed in.
"And here they are!" Qibli finished. "Well, except for Swordtail."
"HEY!" The big blue dragon protested.
"All you did was wait to be rescued," Sundew deadpanned. "I don't think you qualify for a statue of honor yet."
"True..." Swordtail said, subsiding.
"So, what should we do now?" Asked Kinkajou excitedly.
Luna gave her a smile. "We've been wanting to see Jade Mountain, your friends speak highly of it. Besides, Qibli says that it was the key to defeating the Breath of Evil."
"And Darkstalker!" Turtle said.
"Who's Darkstalker?" Cricket asked Kinkajou. The bright Rainwing just shook her head, sighing out an "I'll tell you on the way to Jade Mountain," as she lifted into the air.
Kinkajou and Cricket talked about Darkstalker and the war of sandwing succession until dawn when the serpent head shaped mountain appeared in in front of them
"Welcome," Kinkajou said, turning to the Pantalian heroes. "To Jade Mountain Academy."
