Grian Oneshots, Headcanons, And Incorrect Quotes

𝙷𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚌𝚊𝚗𝚘𝚗𝚜

𝙷𝚎𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝙲𝚛𝚊𝚏𝚝 𝚂𝚎𝚛𝚟𝚎𝚛 -

• If a hermit dies and respawns, a mark will be left on the spot of which was fatal. To better explain, if someone was to die by being stabbed through their chest then they would have a red scar where the blade impaled them.

• Adding to the last headcannon, if a hermit were to break a bone when they died, they would respawn with a bruise where something would have broken. Example, say this hermit died of fall damage and broke their legs, the hermit would respawn with bruises covering their legs. And yes the bruise will eventually heal.

𝙶𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚗 -

• Because he's surrounded by taller people he likes sitting on others' shoulders. It's a normal occurrence that you'll see Mumbo walking in the shopping district with Grian on his shoulders.

• Grian and Mumbo tell each other pretty much anything and everything

• Grian takes on a new bird hybrid every season

• Grian was born a cat hybrid and has cat ears and a tail, he hides them so it doesn't seem too weird with his wings. He can purr and see better at night too. He can also shift into full cat; he does this often whenever anyone is feeling down, though only Mumbo knows he can do this

• Despite his small size he's actually ripped. He uses that to his advantage against any attackers and/or friendly fights

• Grian LOVES cuddles. No elaboration.

• Whenever Mumbo needs to take a break from his work Grian will lay on him and force him to take a break

• Yes,  I know Grian is in his late 20s but here YHS and EVO are canon so his age is a little different in my au. Right out of high school(18) Grian started Evo and played for a little over a year and was with the watchers for two years making him 21 when he escaped. Because he was forced to be in his watcher form for those 2 years when he showed up in HermitCraft at 21 he looked like he was still in high school.

• Grian's cannon age was messed up because of YHS. One year in the YHS server is around two and a half years on Mumbo's server. Meaning that even though the two were born in the same year, Mumbo will forever be older.

• During EVO, Grian still used his witness protection identity. This is why Grian's outfit was completely different and why the server members called the admin Xelqua. Only after escaping the Watchers did Grian go back to his birth name.

• Grian and Mumbo knew each other long before HermitCraft.

𝙼𝚞𝚖𝚋𝚘 -

• Because of an alteration in his code, he's able to eat redstone. Often, he'll forget the other hermits eat real food, and will throw redstone at them when they're about to die.

• He loves cats and will often play with Grian's hair to get him to purr.

• While he is a stubborn person he will listen to most things Grian says due to old habits from their younger years.

• Mumbo is a vampire hybrid. His father was unaware that his mother was a vampire, and when Mumbo was born he tried to 'fix' him by messing with his code causing his redstone glitch.

• Mumbo is alright with physical contact, it just gets uncomfortable to him after long periods of time. However, if something happens someone he is greatly attached to, he will spend a lot more time hugging them and even more time just hanging out. This stems from past trauma.

𝙳𝚘𝚌 -

• Because he is a creeper hybrid, he's scared of cats and slightly scared of cat hybrids. There happens to be one cat that he's not scared of though, which everyone calls him the healing cat. Whenever someone is sad or has locked themselves in a room a little calico cat comforts the person until they are happier or asleep.

𝚂𝚌𝚊𝚛 -

• Scar is very open with his scars and will answer most questions you ask him.

𝙴𝚝𝚑𝚘 -

• OK! I JUST FOUND THIS HC FROM KIMMYWISH ON YT AND I FUCKIN LOVE IT!!! Etho grew up in Japan. When most things finally got out about Tokyo High(YHS), word spread quickly. Etho heard what happened but didn't know Grian was a victim. (Might change it so he was actually in YHS but for now it's just this.)
