"What did you wish for?", Nate asked me.

"Can't tell you.", I responded.

"You're so childish, Alaska."

"Maybe.", I smiled.

"But I'd rather be childish than risk anything."

He chuckled.

"Why did you brought me here?", I asked, looking over to him.

"Honestly, I don't know either."

He was still looking at the sky.

I used the opportunity to study him.

Maybe I was just hallucinating, but I'm pretty sure his eyes were sparkling.

His side profile was literally perfect, a perfect nose, a perfect mouth and of course perfect hair, even though we're laying in grass.

Just the two of us. It was so peaceful.

"Nate, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Who was the girl you talked to at the party yesterday?"

"Wait, are you jealous?", he laughed.

"Nate stop, I'm being serious!"

"She's the cousin of a friend of mine, we've known each other since forever."

"Sooo, there's nothing going on with you two?"

"Alaska Bailey, just admit that you want me to fall in love with you!", he said, standing up.

"Believe me, I'm not trying to!"

"Well, you're not really making it easy for me.", he said quiet.

He helped me up and then we started to walk back.

It was kinda cold, even though it's summer.
I tried to keep myself warm by rubbing my arms, but my hands were freezing too.

Nate noticed.

"Are you cold?", he asked.

"Kinda."

"Let me help you out.", he responded while taking off his jacket.

"Here.", he said, putting his jacket around me.

"Thanks!", I smiled to myself.

How did Nate change so fast?
He's like a complete different person now.

And I love it!

I was finally in front of my house.

"Thank you for this night. I really enjoyed it!", I said, turning around to him.

"I actually did too."

"Well, I think I need to go back in.", I said while pointing to my window.

"Yeah, you probably should."

"Good night, Nate."
