*one week later*
It is finally Friday. I am getting ready for the theme park, where I will be going with Angela and Anisa, my best friends.
I was finally ready and left my house.
Finally there, I spotted my friends and we started to explore the theme park.
At first we went on a roller coaster, where I almost threw up. And because of that I sat down onto a bench after the ride. I still felt really dizzy, so I decided to take a little break.
"You guys don't have to wait for me. I'm fine.", I assured them.
"We're not going to leave you, Laska.", Anisa said, while sitting down next to me.
Then Angi did the same.
"Maybe you need some water, let's see if we can find anything.", Angi suggested.
"I already told you, I'm fine. I actually feel better now, but thanks.", I reassured them.
"Hey, how about we get some cotton candy?", I suggested.
We all agreed.
After some time has passed, we decided to go on a dark ride. I was really excited.
We were all ready for the ride, when someone suddenly tapped me on my shoulder.
I turned around, only to see Nate behind me.
This has to be a joke.
"What a coincidence, Alaska.", he said.
He is literally everywhere. It's like I'm stuck with him.
"Can we just pretend not to know each other?", I begged.
"I don't think I can.", he answered.
What is that supposed to mean?
I don't think I can.
Why?
I just stared into his brown eyes, when the ride suddenly began.
We had so much fun. And to be honest, I have to admit that it was kinda scary.
When the ride ended, we got off and Nate was already gone.
After a few hours I was finally home.
Everyone was already asleep, so I tried to be as quiet as possible.
My parents sleep pretty early, so that often happens.
I passed my parents room and then I was finally in my room.
I changed into my pj's, brushed my teeth and went to bed.
I opened my phone to check my notifications, when I suddenly saw a message from Nate.
Nate
r you up?yes why
can I call you?
now?
yea
sure ig- - -
I kinda freaked out. Why is Nate Flores asking me for a call?
And then I saw his name popping up.
Should I answer?
I clicked onto the green button and held my phone against my ear.
"Hello?", I answered.
"Hey.", he said in a tired voice.
"So?", I asked.
"I'm sorry.", he said
"About what?"
"About what I said to you last week."
"Oh, you mean when you told me that nobody could like me?"
"Uh, yeah."
"It's fine, I didn't even care."
"I was still acting like an asshole."
"I mean you always do.", I laughed.
"And you're not?", I could hear him smile.
"Just don't listen to everything I say to you.", he said in a serious voice.
"Believe me, I'm not."
"I could actually imagine that someone would like you. I'm pretty sure many already do.", he said.
I smiled.
"What makes you think that?", I asked.
"You know why, Laska."
"Do I?"
"You are so annoying.", he said smiling.
"Am I?", I chuckled.
"God Alaska.", he laughed.
"I think you need some sleep.", he said.
"Yeah, maybe. Good night."
"Good night, Laska."
