Chapter 11: The Surprise

Mary

Mary heard that Rafael Crawford was killed while on active duty. Mary felt sorry for Laura. Prince Eric also felt bad for Laura. Prince Eric hopes to see Laura soon. Emily and her kids came to visit Queen Rachel. Daniel walks up to Mary. "Hello, Mary," Daniel greeted Mary. "Why don't you leave me alone?!" Mary asks angrily. "Why are you upset with me? What did I do to you?!" Daniel asks angrily. "Your father is a monster and I do not want anything to do with you! Mary replied angrily. "My father's crimes are not my fault!" Daniel replied angrily.

Daniel took off and he went back inside. Mary went into her garden. Mary has a lot of roses, daisies, and other flowers. Mary also has a vegetable garden. Queen Rachel was wondering what Mary was doing outside. Mary always walked into the castle in muddy clothes. Queen Rachel went to ask Meg. "Meg, do you know what Mary has been doing outside?" Queen Rachel asks. "Your highness, Mary regrew Amber's garden. I hope you are not angry with her or me," Meg replied. "I am not angry with you or Mary. I am happy that Mary regrew my daughter's garden.

After Mary left, Queen Rachel went to see the garden. She could not believe how beautiful the garden was. Queen Rachel went to get King Adam. "What is going on?" King Adam asks. "Adam, just follow me?" Queen Rachel ordered. King Adam follows Queen Rachel to Amber's garden. "What are we doing here? I thought I said I did not want to see this garden again!" King Adam replied angrily. "Adam, please come to look at the garden?!" Queen Rachel pleaded. King Adam went into the garden. He could not believe what he saw. Amber's garden was beautiful.

"Who regrew Amber's garden?" King Adam asks. "Mary did. Please do not be angry with her!" Queen Rachel pleaded. "I am not angry with Mary. I am happy. The garden looks exactly the way Amber has it," King Adam replied. Later, Mary and Prince Eric were already asleep. King Adam went to check on Mary. King Adam could not believe how much Mary looked like Amber. King Adam thought about his daughter Elizabeth. Elizabeth was Prince Eric's twin sister. Elizabeth died at birth. King Adam thought he would never be happy again until Mary came. Mary made King Adam and his family happy again.

A New Neighbor

Laura

Laura was going to work when she saw someone moving to the house next to Roland's store. "I see someone is moving into that old house," Roland replied. "Do you know who your new neighbor is?" Laura asks. "No, but I do know that it is just one man moving into the house," Roland replied. "Your new neighbor must travel a lot because I saw a lot of antiques that they were moving into the house. Those antiques look like they come from different parts of the world. I do know that one of the antiques came from India," Laura replied. "Did you live in India?" Roland asks. "Yes, I did. My dad was stationed there," Laura replied.

Henry

Henry McCallum was still unpacking. Henry knew that his brother Victor, Jane, nieces, and nephew were still alive, but he did not know where they were. Henry hired a private investigator to look for them. Henry did see a girl about his nephew Edward's age walking into the bookstore. Henry thought that girl should be in school. Henry also thought that the girl looked like Jane. Henry wonders if that girl was his niece Anastasia.
