5. Sincerity Is Scary

The weekend was over and once Monday arrived, I knew I had to see Blaine before I went away. I know it was only half a week I'd be away for, but I knew it would feel like a lot longer.

I wanted to see him for longer than usual, I was determined.

I messaged Hayley asking her for a favour.
'What's up? X' She replied.
'I want to stay at Blaine's, but I just don't have anyone I can say I'm staying with'.
'Oohh okay - when were you looking at staying? I'm off tomorrow, I'll be happy to help anyway I can x'.
We didn't see each other much at all but she was always a good friend.

I panicked slightly - could tomorrow really be a night I stay at his house, and actual sleepover? I was like an excited teenager.
'I can drive to you tomorrow if you want and take you there?' Hayley said.

'Seriously? Honestly you don't have to but that would be amazing, thank you! X'.
'No worries, I'll see you tomorrow around lunchtime :)' she responded.

I didn't tell Blaine, although he had mentioned to me that a few people were sick at work and he wasn't feeling too great himself so he likely wouldn't be going into work tomorrow. I didn't even mind if I got ill, I just wanted to see him.

Tuesday arrived and Hayley got to mine for about 1pm . She stayed for a while and was talking to Matty while I was packing my bag and getting ready.
We didn't leave for almost an hour after she turned up.
Once I said goodbye to Matty, we got in the car and headed for Blaine's.

We spoke in the car and I gushed over Blaine and how excited I was to spend the night, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise so I just messaged him that I was on my way over.

He met us in town and we chatted for a bit, then we headed inside Sainsbury's so that Hayley could go to the toilet before she left'.

'So how long do I get you for today? Seeing as it's already 3pm' Blaine said.
'Yeah I'm sorry I was running late' this was always a norm for me.
'But if it's okay with you....'
'...What?!' He demanded.
'I'll stay at yours tonight?' I replied.
'What? You're winding me up aren't you? Don't joke about that' he said in a sad tone.
'No I'm really staying, honestly' I responded.
'Where's your bag then?' He still wasn't buying it.
I chuckled, 'it's in Hayley's car'.
'You're such a little wind up you are' he said as he hugged me.

Once Hayley had come out of the toilets and bought a drink, we headed towards her car.
I grabbed my bag and thanked Hayley, then waved her off as she left.

'Right then you, back to mine we go' Blaine said excitedly. 'I can't believe you're actually staying over' he had the biggest smile on his face.

We got back to his, made some food, then headed up to his room.
We decided to watch a horror movie that night, it was okay but halfway through, Elsie needed to be walked and it was already very dark outside so it was a bit creepy!
'Do you want me to come with you?' I asked.
'It's okay, I don't want both of us getting cold.' He said.

He left, and I noticed instantly he was on what's app.
I knew I was on there to let Matty know I was okay, he always worried about me.
But what was Blaine doing? Probably speaking to Nicole, my mind was not letting me think otherwise.

He got back after about twenty minutes, and I had convinced myself that he was speaking to her the whole time. But I tried to let it go.

When he got back, we cuddled up and watch the rest of the movie.
We then put something happier on to fall asleep to.
We were both so tired we passed out, but he had his arms wrapped around me and I had zero worries.
When we woke up, I had just a pair of tiny red cotton shorts on and a strapped vest top that I fell asleep in. I felt something hard from behind, and a whisper in my ear 'good morning beautiful' and a kiss on the cheek as he swept my hair aside.
I loved waking up like this.
