A/n: Really sorry for the late update. I am stuck and don't know how to progress the story naturally. Anyways here's the chapter though it is not exactly as I hope it to be.

The cold twilight breeze blew softly across Ave's cheeks. She savored the brief cold respite as she stared listlessly across the bleeding horizon. Daylight is dying as the night slowly overthrows the sky. Ave took one more second at the bleeding sky as she turns back.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Yeah! Tell us tell us! Purple veins ran across Ave's right face, signifying Laurel's presence. Zane stiffened visibly when he saw the veins. Alarmed, he raised his finger towards the vein as he barely contained his panic.

"T-there are veins in your face." Ave frowned but quickly calmed her nerves as she replied. "That is your sister lad." Ave said. "S-sister?! You mean-" "Yes yes. She is here with us right now; this vein marks her presence and all that. Now could you actually get to the point?"

Ave sighed heavily as she stared at Zane. The young boy was at a lost for words as there were so many questions. So many things to ask and to say that he did not know where to begin with. Fortunately, he did find one amidst the endless.

"Why did you do it?" Zane asked as Ave stared hazily with her gray eyes. "Why did you punch everyone there? You could have just slapped them or something, but why did you punch them?" Zane asked as the adult caged within the child responds.

"They pisses me off." Zane's eyes widen as Ave replied no more. "T-that's it?! You punched them because they make you mad??" Zane asked, astounded by such a simple reasoning as Ave scoffed.

"If you don't want to get picked on kid then you better make it clear to them." Ave spoke off harshly as Zane shook his head. "Surely there is another way to-" "'I didn't know they allowed rats into the academy now' if I had said that to you lad, how would you feel?"

Zane's mouth went agape. Disbelief and shock flooded through his eyes as Ave continued. "I'm not sure how your world works, but in my world, if you let that thing slide you will just be another target for those lil shits. So, I made sure they can fuck right off."

Zane was surprised once more as Ave's speech suddenly devolve into a crude and harsher tone. Of all his life, Zane never once heard Ave curse so much as she does now. She was always cold and distant but always remained formal.

This was the Ave Zane known for all the time they spent together. The Ave before him now was completely different. Familiar, but very different. "Are we done? I have a lot of things to do so I'll appreciate it if you go away now." Zane quickly shook his head.

"No, there are still things I wanted to know!" Zane said. "Just make it quick, I don't have all day." Ave said as Zane's brain raced through the endless for another query. "Um, i-is sister Laurel alright?" I should play it safe for now, until-!

Ave paled slightly as her free hand gripped the railings hard. This is not safe at all! "A-are you alright?" Zane hurriedly tried to support Ave, but she refused the offer firmly. "I'm... fine. Just don't speak the lass's name." Ave answered as Zane looked confused.

"W-what do you-" "Just don't speak her name damn it!" Ave lashed out as Zane jumped back in surprise. Her silver eyes darken frighteningly for a second before it calms down. "S-sorry. Didn't mean to shout. It's just that... argh never mind. Just don't speak her name."

Ave warned as she tries to regain her balance. M-miss Ave are you alright? 'F-fine.' No, miss Ave is not! Miss Ave needs- 'I said I am fine! I am fine so can you please keep quiet?!' Ave lashed out as the headache intensifies.
