๑Extra chapter 1: Hope and training๑

❁(Y/n)'s POV❁

2 weeks have passed after the battle with the Oni and everyone was relaxing. Well... Not everyone. After I became part of the group, Master Wu and the others started to train me to control my powers. I always get tired after training and just lay in bed for the rest of the day.

I heard the door open and I saw that it was Lloyd. He walked over to me and sat down on my bed.

Lloyd: "So, how's training going?"

(Y/n): "Great but it's getting harder and harder to control my powers."

Lloyd: "I know it's hard but you have to have hope."

(Y/n): "I'm the Symbol of Hope, Lloyd. I have hope 24/7. I just can't keep it up that much. How did you even pass it?"

Lloyd: "I didn't give up because ninja never quit."

I laid on my bed before I stood up again. I started to stretch my body as I heard my bones cracking.

(Y/n): "Alrighty. Then show me."

Lloyd: "How?"

(Y/n): "Training. What else? Now come."

We both started to walk to the courtyard and prepare ourselves. I started to run up to Lloyd to hit him with a punch but he blocked them. He grabs one of my hands and spins me around then let's go, making me crash into the floor.

I got up and started to throw energy balls towards him. He dodges them except the last one, which hits him in the stomach. He falls to the ground and then gets up again. He used his powers to attack me but I dodged them. I move to each side while singing.

(Y/n): "Slide to the left. Slide to the right. Crisscross!"

I spun around on the ground before I got up and did Spinjitzu. I hit him with my powers and then stopped spinning. We both got up and started to continue.

Cole: "Sis! Have you seen my-"

He stops once he sees us.

(Y/n): "What are you looking for?"

Cole: "I'm kinda looking for my guzzler. Have you seen it?"

I started to think about and then remember where I left it.

(Y/n): "Have you checked the- Agh!"

I was cut off once Lloyd used his powers to push me away. I landed on my legs perfectly. I then looked at Cole to answer him.

(Y/n): "Check behind my bags. The ones next to my bookshelf."

Cole: "Thanks!"

Lloyd and I continued to train until it was the afternoon. We decided to stop and go inside. I went to my room and saw that Cole was reading my notebook.

(Y/n): "I thought you found what you needed?"

Cole: "I did but I then decided to read your notebook about your adventures in the past."

I sat down beside him and decided to read my notebook with him. We may not be related by blood but he's a brother to me. We both promise things to each other and protect our friends. My adventures in the past include people that I saved in the alleyways. I would always give them hope. Now that Harumi is gone, I do it alone but sometimes Cole or Lloyd would join me.

(Y/n): "Oh! I remember that one. It's when the emperor almost found out what I was doing and who I secretly was. It's a shame that they're gone. I would have told them the truth and thanked them for taking care of me."

I smiled as I said that. Cole put his hand on my shoulder as he knew that they would be proud of me. Staying with the ninja was an amazing choice to make. I'm with my new family. I like to call it home but also...
