"So much for taking it slow" I said and we both laughed as we were still intertwined on her bed. She strated to run her fingers through my hair and caress my face, making me look at her.

"How are you feeling?" She asked softly but tightening my face a little, as if she was scared of the answer and holding on to me as if I was going to escape.

"I think... I don't know, actually. I know I'm scared shitless, that's for sure."

"What are you scared of, honey?"

"Of us." I said and my chest burned up. "I'm scared of how this is going to end."

"But we barely started, baby girl. Can you already see us ending?"

"You know I have already thou..." She nterrupted me

"Thought of every way this could go wrong, I know. But babe, don't you think we found eachother again for a reason? I mean, what are the odds that we both, without knowing anything about eachother's lifes, not only moved to the same city in another country through the same company and worked on the same focus project?"

"I'm certain it means something that we found eachother, I'm sure about that, but I'm scared still."

"An" Nina said holding my face. "Live this with me. You know I can't make your fear go away, only you can. That doesn't mean I won't win your trust back or..."

"It's my choice to be here with you. It's my choice to try again, you don't have to win my trust. I'm angry at you, of course, but I wouldn't be here with you if I didn't see a point to it. It's just... Hard."

"I'm sorry"

"You don't have to be sorry. It is what it is. We're here, that's what matters now. I realise I'm saying this more to me that to you, but..." We both chuckled.

"It's okay, we don't have to talk about it right away. Tell me about your trip, have you packed?"

"Not yet, I was hoping I would do it tomor..." I realised that it was way past midnight "Well, later today."

"That's nice. Would you like to go get some breakfest with me today? Just so I can say goodbye properly"

"Don't say it like that. It makes it seem like it is the end or we're gonna spend this huge amount of time appart" She laughed at my dispair "Can we do brunch instead? It's late, I still have to get home and intend to get some sleep as well, I don't know if I'll get much at Ocean City" I said playfully, but Nina froze.

"Okay, we need to talk about our situation before you go" She said with a serious and bothered expressioin.

"What about it?"

"Are we still open to be with other pe... You know what? We're not! That's it, that's the conversation." I laughed as she said it.

"We're not?" I said still laughing

"You want to?" She said withering flicking her eyes at every direction of my face

"I haven't had the chance to think about it yet, I just haven't thought about those things for so long..."

"Oh... You want tome time to think?" She said withering even more

"I don't think so, we can discuss this right now. Are we dating?"

"No" She said after a long pause.

"Thank God you know that" I laughed, but she only left out a nervous laugh, she was too tense.

"But that doesn't mean I want to be with anything else. I'm here to make this work and I don't think it will if we start to bring other people into this. It's going to be hard enough without them, you know?!"
