"And I can see us twisted in bedsheets
August sipped away like a bottle of wine
'Cause you were never mine"Steve woke up with the biggest smile that morning. It took him a long minute to get used to the light before he opened his eyes, Angie's silhouette in his eyesight. She was wearing his shirt only, nothing underwear it at all, a white bedsheet wrapped around the both of them.
Blush went up his cheeks. he slowly moved his hands and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. She slowly moved, opening her eyes aswell.
"Mhmm" she breath, cuddling down on the pillow. She tucked her head in the mattress, closing her eyes again. Steve reached out to her, planting kisses from her shoulder up to her cheek, reaching her lips at the end and planting a small kiss on the side of them. She smiled into his lips.
Steve was thinking to himself that he would happily wake up like this every morning if he could.
Angie sighed, opening her eyes. Steve was inches away from her face, studying her face.
"You have a birthmark on your lip?" he whispered, only now noticing the dot on the left side of her upper lip. Angie nodded. Steve reached his hand over and passed his finger over it before reaching over to kiss it.
She kissed him back, enjoying the sweet taste of his tongue on her lips, she swirled her tongue around his, slowly breaking apart, rolling in the sheets. She buried her face in his chest. Steve laughed, playing with her hair as she did so.
"Stevie?" She mumbled into his body, leaving small kisses on his bare chest. He laughed, she broke apart from his body.
"Call me Stevie again" he whispered into her lips as he kissed her again.
"Stevie" she whispered back, their lips smushed together with smiles. "I don't want to call you James anymore" he whispered to her, he took her hand in his, playing with her fingers.
"you can. I don't mind" she said, shaking her head. She purely didn't mind. He could call her whatever he wanted to and she'll gladly answer it.
"No. I want something more personal" he whispered as he shotgun kissed the around of her lips, still holding her hand strongly "Angie?" She asked, laughing as she played with his hair. He shook his head as kissed her again, on her birthmark. "How about Angeli?" He asked. "I like it" she whispered into his lips.
She could feel a smile creep up on his lips as he broke apart from her. He rolled over the bed as he jumped off, standing up. "Don't go" Angie cried out, holding his hand tightly.
"stevie" she called again, trying her luck. He turned around, planting a kiss on her forehead before turning back around, she let go of his hand.
He walked over to the bathroom in Angie's room. She couldn't help but to look at his body as he walked away. Last night she didn't even see him properly from the darken mess she was in. The way he carried himself, his hands in his hair and only underwear on his body. Angie turned around in excitement, burying her body in sheets as she felt the butterflies go around in her stomach again.
She heard the water the door close and the shower water turn back on as she let herself drift back to sleep, wrapped around in Steve's scent.
She woke up, unable to recall if it was minutes or hours later, by a door opening. And to her surprise, it wasn't the bathroom door. The water in the shower were still turned on so she knew Steve was still in there.
She quickly turned her head over to the door, Vickie stood there, an innocent smile on her face. "Can I come in?" She asked. Very stressed Angie covered Steve's shirt and her almost completely bare body in the blanket as Vickie entered the room, sitting on the bed.
"So I've been planning this for a while, but I need your approval. I want to talk Robin out tonight, just us. And that means you have to stay with the boys for dinner? I know you and Steve don't get along great but I thought"
Angie smiled, cutting Vickie off. "It's perfectly fine" she promised. Vickie's grateful smile was adorable, almost adorable enough for Angie to pay attention to it, but the water in the shower stopped working. Angie prayed Vickie would leave the room before Steve came out, but luck was against her.
As Vickie stood up, thanking Angie again. The bathroom door opened, both of the girls turned their head over to Steve, who was standing there, soaking wet, just a towel wrapped around his hips. Angie felt the blush creep up her cheeks again.
"Steve. What" Vickie said, confusingly looking at him. He coughed, thinking for a second before professionally answering to Vickie. "Water were off again. James let me use her shower" he explained.
Both Angie and Steve's breath was short, wondering if Vickie would notice his pants that were thrown on the floor, though they were hidden quite well behind the bed, where he threw them last night.
"Ugh how many times do I have to tell Eddie not to finish all the water!" Vickie sighed deeply, before turning around and walking over to the door. "Thanks again, Angie" she smiled. Angie gave her a nod and only when she closed the bedroom door Angie and Steve breath properly again.
"Fuck" Steve laughed, Angie joined in on his laugh, though she was still barely keeping herself together inside.
He grabbed his stuff from the clothes from the floor while walking over to the door. "Wait your shirt" Angie called after him, about to take his shirt off of her. "Keep it" Steve smiled. "It looks better on you" he insisted. She returned a smile.
"Thanks for letting me use your shower, again" Steve winked in her direction as he opened the door. "My pleasure" she replied. Steve's door closed after him as Angie fell down to the bed, her head in her hands. What was going on with her.
