"We wander through a foreign town
Strangely, there's nobody else around"

Steve woke up to the soft sound of waves that morning, he could feel the wind moving the tent around. Eddie were calmly sleeping besides him, his hair messy. He set up, rubbing his eyes before slipping out of the tent, hurrying to close it behind him. It was still early, he noticed. It was half-dark outside, the cloudy sunrise wrapping the skies around the ocean.

He opened slightly the tent of the girls, to see Angie sleeping there calmly, her soft familiar breaths moving her body, he smiled to himself before closing the tent and hurrying to slip into a jacket before walking away from their camp, towards the ocean.

He was barefoot, and the sand all felt so wet around his feet, still damp from the cold night. When he reached the ocean, he stopped, his legs barely touching the cold water that made his body shiver. He breath deeply, just standing there, when the memories started to climb into his head shortly after.

"Fuck" he breath, laughing as he got her, picking her up underwater. Her legs wrapped around his body. His white shirt was see-through, they were only inches apart, their warm breath on each other's face. They kept the small distance, afraid to break the moment.

"Stevie" Angeli whispered. Their eyes were stuck on each other, their lips inches apart. Their eyes saying what they couldn't express with words. silent conversations.

"Mhm?" He mumbled back.

"I never understood desire until I met you" she whispered. The lake was quite, only the sound of the wind in the trees distant bird calls and their slow, heavy breathing.

Steve slowly put his lips on hers, biting her bottom lip lightly. Her fingers dug deeper into his skin, their bodies were collided. Fire lived within his kiss, he had a way of melting every part of her.

Steve breath deeply as the memory faded into the cold ocean air, second before another one wrapped his thoughts.

"I think he's being ridiculous. And I think the kiss last night was a rushed, ridiculous, not smart thing to do"

"Then kiss me again."

Angie turned to him with a surprised face. He stood up. "Kiss me again. And if you still feel it was only a rushed moment I won't bother you for the rest of the summer vacation. I won't even bring it up" he said. A serious look on his face.

"Steve..."

"Angelina"

He got closer to her, cupping her chin with his two hands, raising her head to look up to her. "Kiss me again" he whispered, she could feel his warm breath on her face before she only inches away from his face, the air between them was hot but Steve didn't kiss her. He waited. He waited for her to want it.

Without thinking farther, Angelina broke the distance between them, crushing their lips together. He kissed her passionately, his hands buried on her face as he swifted his tounge lightly over her lips, entering her mouth. She opened it, giving him entrance to slip his tounge into hers.

Her hands wrapped around his neck, pulling his as close as she can to herself. His hands travelled down to her waist, pulling her body into his as he deepened the kiss before he broke apart.

Their faces were still inches away from each other. Ridiculous smiles on their faces. "Still think he's not thinking straight?" He whispered into her face. Angie breath out before shaking her hand no and smashing their lips together again.

A hand wrapped around his stomach, someone hugging his from behind. Angeli. He let out a chuckle, settling into her sweet touch. Her hands weren't long around to go completely around his stomach, however they were definitely enough to hold him.

"Are you ok?" She whispered. She woke up only about a minute before, when he left her tent. She knew him, she knew he wouldn't fall back asleep. And she wanted to spend the most of her last five days with him as much as she could, so she followed him out.

"I'm ok" he whispered back. It wasn't exactly true, he wasn't exactly ok. But it's the most he could do.

Angie broke apart from his touch, walking to the front of him as she hugged him from the front. Steve wrapped his hands around her body now, slightly picking her up from the hight difference they had. Their hands wrapped around each other as there was nothing else in the world but themselves now.

Steve thought about it, when the girl he loved was wrapped in his arms. Loved. He knew it now, he was certain of it, but he didn't say anything, he wouldn't.

They had different dreams, different paths, sacred lives that they would ruin if they kept this "thing" going. It was just a summer fling, after all, and neither of them was planning on changing that, as much as they meant to each other.

They were both too stubborn to ever say anything, if their love was held by it.

Her hands wrapped tighter around his neck as his hands trailed down to her waist, ducking down to reach her forehead in where he placed a soft kiss, and she knew.

She knew. But it was better to say goodbye. In this case, in their case. Maybe they weren't meant for each other after all of this, maybe it was nothing. Maybe it was everything.

"Oi dinguses, are you going to join us?" Robin yelled, breaking Steve and Angie apart from their soft conversation in the corner of the camp, where they set hugged.

They let go earlier that day, about half an hour after standing hugged closely to each other, expressing their breakable love without words. When the group all woke up, starting to get out of their tents. To their luck, neither Vickie or Robin mentioned anything about last night, so they just assumed they didn't hear anything.

They spent their morning slowly cooking and eating breakfast with the group, Angie and Steve holding each other's hands all the time, not letting go even for a split second. When it got warmer that day, and the clouds finally left the sky, they all went swimming, for at least three hours they spent in the water, splashing each other and Eddie trying his best not to get drowned by the rest who got teamed up against him, and then managing to somehow get Vickie on his team, and they definitely "won" against the other three, as it was only Robin fighting, because Steve and Angie were attracted to each other and nothing could come in their way, not even Eddie's attempts to down Steve.

As the sun set that day, the group decided to talk a walk across the beach, waiting for the sun to go down.

"We are leaving without youuuu" Robin called again, her hand held tightly to Vickie's as the two and Eddie started to walk away.

"We are coming, we're coming!" Angie yelled after them, getting up and pulling Steve by the hand with her as they walked after the group, their hands locked with each other.

They slowed down as they caught the rest, Angie's free hand held Eddie's. Eddie gave her a soft smile, holding her hand back as he reached his out to Robin's who gladly took it, Vickie was already holding Robin's hand.

And so the five walked away from the sunset, craving any last moment they had with each other. Steve planted a soft kiss on Angie's cheek. Five more days.
