Loki moved over to where Carter was sitting. She was green and pale, and had a hand on her stomach and mouth.
"Bruce do you have anything she can take?"
"She'd only throw it up if I did give her anything, I can only suggest getting something she can throw up in. Tony, do you have any buckets?"
"Plenty, Loki," Loki looked up at his husband, "in that corner is a stack of buckets, go and get a couple!" Loki rushed over to the buckets, grabbing two and running back to Carter. She thanked him feebly and then put a hand on her mouth, trying to stop the bile.
"Here, we're gonna go upstairs, we'll see you all a bit later today alright?" Steve said, having her pick up her bucket and he pushed the chair. Though she was still greener when moving, she didn't vomit, and Steve a few minutes later called and said they made it to their floor "safely."
"Well that's good, I'll go up there in a few minutes and bring some medicine for her." Bruce said as he went to his desk and found different medicines she might be able to swallow.
"Bruce, I don't think she'd be able to take them." Sam said walking over, he looked nervous.
"Carter, she gets morning sickness often?" He asked Tony.
"Often? No. Almost every single morning. She has her good and bad days and weeks."
"She doesn't look sickly though." Loki said softy. "You saw me while I was sick. Did I look like that?"
"Oh yeah, but you weren't sick all the time, you would throw up a handful of times a week."
"Yes, but still, if I could I would heal her to the best of my abilities."
"Loki, just be glad you're back, plus Carter wouldn't accept your help."
"Why?"
"She is one of the most independent women I've ever met, the day Steve proposed, she also did. She also served in the military. And when she got pregnant, she instantly wanted it to be a boy, in a few days they're going to go find out too."
"Oh that's amazing!" Loki said clapping his hands together.
"Yeah. Gabriel, you wanna help me clean this stuff up?"
"OK."
"Lokes?"
"Sure." The three of them quickly began to pick up the mess, luckily they'd set it closer to the drainage area in the lab and most of it had gone down that.
"The rest of the soda we can't really get up unless you want me to break out the degreaser and scrub real fast."
"Whatever you want to do."
"Well, I guess I should. You guys can go upstairs and I'll be up there in a few minutes."
"Alright." Loki bent down and picked up Gabriel, he still had a large smile on his face. "Hade du det gøy min lille en?" Did you have fun my little one? Gabriel cocked his head to the side, and seemed to understand a small part of him understood.
"What?" He asked.
"That means: "Did you have fun my little one?"
"Yes."
"Do you know what language that is?"
"No...."
"Norwegian."
"Daddy said you're a God."
"I was. I'm not now."
"Why not?"
