Loki and Tony soon after packed up and headed back upstairs, the two of them and the baby stared out of the window for a few minutes, it was pouring down rain. When Gabriel started to cry, Tony took him from Loki and he checked to make sure he hadn't wet himself and wasn't hungry, and then Loki dropped himself onto the couch

"Hey Lokes," Tony asked as he hoisted up Gabriel and sniffed his diaper, all clear, "Are you alright?"

"I just don't feel good, do you mind if I go lay down in the spare room?"

"Why not ours?"

"Because I think I may be getting a.... Cold? A cold," He was still working on 'Misgardian Terminology,' and was doing fantastic, "The last thing we need is for the baby getting sick or you and I being ill. I'm going to lay down, tell JARVIS to let me know if you need me."

"Alright, I love you." Tony said to Loki as he shuffled away from the living room.

"I love you, too." Loki mumbled back yanking out his braid, Tony looked down at Gabriel and the baby gave a big toothless smile.

"Pappa isn't feeling well, how about we lay you down for a nap though?" Gabriel reached up for Tony and Tony gave a little frown, "No? No nap? Then maybe we go play with some of your toys, yeah, that sounds good."

Tony froze when he heard the T.V. turning on in the other room. Then he continued on his way to the nursery, Gabriel wasn't quite old enough to sit himself up yet, Loki had propped him up a couple times but that usually didn't last long. Tony set him on the ground, he was indeed old enough to hold his own head up so he put him on the ground and then put down a few different toys for him to play with while Tony sat next to him.

"JARVIS set up the Yggdrasil hologram in the middle and turn the lights down."

"Yes, Sir." And so it was. The digital work appeared and he watched very interested at it glew bright, he laid down next to Gabriel and the baby continued to play with a small version of the Tesseract that Loki had insisted upon.

"J do you mind making this appear in the guest room?"

"Not at all, should I have it set up the same as with Master Gabriel?"

"Yeah why not, just make it so that Loki sees it but it doesn't disturb him."

"Yes, Sir."

"If he says anything let me know."

"Yes, Sir." Tony laid down on the floor next to him and made sure that hadn't swallowed anything and was doing fine. He was a very happy little kid, and he laughed when Tony made a face at him. And when a baby laughs you can't help but laugh with them.

"I love you, Gabriel Ymir." Tony said when he had finally stopped laughing and Gabriel was just staring at him with bright eyes.

"Mr. Stark, Mr. Laufeyson is calling for you."

"Tell him to stay awake as long as he can and then when the baby goes to bed I'll come in there."

"Yes, SIr." And then Tony looked back, Gabriel wouldn't be able to fall asleep for quite awhile and though it broke his heart that he wouldn't be able to go sit with Loki and the baby but once Gabriel dropped off, he'd feel better about it.

---

After two hours more of playing with Gabriel, which Tony loved every second of, he finally began to fall asleep. Tony picked himself up, then lifted up Gabriel and held him in his arms. He rocked him softly and then he fell asleep in his arms. Tony, as gently as he could out him into his crib.

Tony snuck out of the bedroom into the spare one, and there was Loki, also sound asleep. Tony backed out and shut the door, he would let his boys sleep. So Tony walked into the living room and used one of the tablets, seeing what he could do without having to go anywhere.

"Mr. Stark, Mr. Rogers is here."

"What does he want?"

"He says he would just like to talk with you." JARVIS replied and the elevator opened. Steve Rogers walked inside, completely unawares as to what was going on.

"What can I do for you, Capsicle?" Tony whispered.

"Is Loki at home?" Steve asked, not whispering, and when Tony looked confused he explained, "I've come to apologize to him."

"Well, do you mind not talking so loud? I've got the baby," Steve winced a little, "asleep."

"Is Loki here? I'm going to the gym soon and I just wanted to say sorry and leave."

"He's asleep too, he's sick."

"Alright." Steve looked like he thought Tony was lying to him.

"He isn't feeling good, Steve. Maybe another time OK? I just put the baby down and I don't want him waking up, but I've got to take care of both of them so please, Steve?"

"Fine. Bye."

"Bye." Steve was of course very angry, just the way he bore himself proved that, but Tony wasn't going to chase him about this, it wasn't a big deal right now. Making sure his husband and son were doing fine was his number one priority at the moment. Tony sat back down on the couch, making himself comfortable and he waited for either one of them to make a noise. When there was nothing, Tony checked his phone: 2:42.

After a few more minutes ticked by in eerie silence, Tony wandered into the spare room and looked at Loki sleeping soundly, with soft snores. Looking at him, he looked exhausted and paler then normal.

Tony then walked out again so that he could sleep in peace. Silence in his house was so strange. Before the baby had been born, it was loud because Tony and Loki had definitely enjoyed their first year, but not overly loud, then one night Loki was laying in bed as a woman and was told to go with it, then to discover a few weeks later Loki was pregnant. It had been one of the best days of his life, he had many: From small childhood memories to the most recent being the birth of his son.

"Anthony?" Loki's voice came from the spare room, it was shaky. Tony shot up of the couch and rushed to the guest room. Loki was sitting up and the Yggdrasil was shinning dully in the corner.

"Lay back down!" Tony said and pushed gently on his shoulders to get him to lay down again. Loki, even though sick, very strong and didn't lay down again.

"How long did I nap?" Loki asked, his black hair laying flat in some places.

"Not long, how're you feeling?"

"Disgusting."

"Oh yeah, cold, do you want me to get some blankets?"

"I can go under these, but I'm going to change very fast and get one of your sweater shirts."

"I can go get your pajamas and a sweatshirt, just promise me you'll lay down?"

"Fine," Loki smiled and grabbed a pillow to lay down again, "thank you, love."

"Yep." Tony went as fast as he could into the master bedroom and grabbed Loki's favorite green and black plaid pajamas, a baggy shirt of Tony's and a black sweatshirt, before running back. Loki looked up when Tony came back in and another smile appeared on his face.

"Thank you, Anthony."

"Yeah," Tony leaned against the wall while Loki changed into his comfy clothes, leaving a neatly folded pile on one of the dressers. When he was fully changed, he sat back down on the bed, "Under the covers."

"Alright, Anthony." Loki sighed with a soft laugh as he lifted up the comforter and sheet and got beneath them. He gripped onto a pillow tightly, his thin arms covered with the very over sized sleeves. Tony walked over and gave him a quick kiss on the forehead, normally Loki was cold to the touch, now he was overly hot.

"Call me if you need me."

"I will."
