Chapter four: aramis....the placement tests.

After Nurse Korida AND Nurse Ryuka had bandaged my head, I was given the clear to leave. It was already too late for the rest of my classes, so Luna and I decided to wait for Alex. Another hour and she too got the clear for leaving the infirmary. They told me it's time for the placement tests, and lead me to the Great Hall

What's the placement tests you ask? Well it's apparently a thing where you do some weird thing and it places you into a 'house'. There are four houses. The House of Erwyn, who's symbol is a Pegasus, this is the house for those kind, and smart, the people who listen to their heart to tell them what's right. The House of Gerald, the dragon is their symbol, this is the house for those brave and courageous, yet extremely headstrong. The House of Zerath, their symbol is a serpentine, a man half snake and half human. This is the house for the sneaky and treacherous, those who will stab you in the back without a second thought just for power. And then the House of Gimly, for those who don't fit in anywhere else. Their symbol is a blob of green goo, or a shapeshifter.

But here's what happens, they give all the new students some pill, then a flash of light happens, and the crest of a house appears in front of them. Then boom, that's your house. It's supposed to be fullproof, but I have my doubts.

I just saw one girl take the pill. She had shoulder length jet black hair, and eyes so dark you could just barely see the difference between her iris and pupil. She wore spectacles, a black t-shirt with a thin dark red jacket over that. She had knee high black socks and black boots. I think her name was something like, Akuma Kuroyuki. Well, anyway, there was a flash of light and the crest to The House of Erwyn appeared, a blue shield with a book and Pegasus on it.

Alright, it's my turn to take that pill, as I walk in front of everybody in the Great Hall, I feel so many eyes on me, and I shiver as I grab the little glowing ball. I gently cast my vision to Luna and Alex, my first friends at this school who were in The House of Erwyn as well. They give me reassuring smiles and a thumbs up, and I down the pill. I feel really warm at first, it starts at my fingertips and my toes and spreads out through my body. I start to cough violently, until a beam of light shoots from my eyes, and shows all four of the crests together.

Everyone gasps, I guess this hasn't happened before. The head master walks up to me, who's name I found out was Headmaster Erodelbmud, with a silent B, gently shakes me.

"Oi, brat, choose your house." Erodelbmud grunted at me, wait, did he get taller?

"Uhh...wasn't the pill supposed to do that for me? I mean, didn't you guys see the crest?" I was shocked, he didn't ask anyone else to choose their house.

"Yeah but it didn't work for you ya brat! It showed all four crests! You're obviously kind enough for Erwyn, brave enough for Gerald, venomous enough for Zerath, and you also fit in for Gimly oddly enough. So pick." Ok, Erodelbmud mad at me now.

So now I had a very big decision. Which house do I choose? I'm never good at making these. But, here it goes. I decided to let my magic choose for me. I slowly raised up both of my hands, and opened them so that the palms faced the ornate marble ceiling.

"Summon: Crest!" I shouted, feeling my magic flow out to form what my mind wanted but my body couldn't say.

There was a sudden flash of light, and everyone either had to close their eyes, turn their heads, or risked being blinded. When the light faded away, we all turned to see the crest of~~~~~~
