I couldn't help but laugh, both out of fear, and excitement. Then out of pain, I swear if Akuma squeezed any tighter, I'd loose blood flow to my brain.

What were we doing? Oh yeah, I kinda forgot to mention it didn't I? Well...after I had goofed up in running away, I needed a plan to get us to Duel Club close to on time. So I had the thought to do this...

Let's ride Will.

I told him about one of the fastest mythical creatures back in the Illusion Isles, known as a bandersnatch. It's sort of a cross between a bear, and a really large cat. He had told us that he had never seen one, and I was forced to summon one. It was great though, after seeing my summons, he shapeshifted into an exact copy, except with black spots on brown fur.

I laughed and jumped on his back, taking two fistfuls of the fur and Akuma got on, wrapping her arms around my waist. And then we were off. I could feel the wind caused by Will's speed rushing through my hair, and I could also feel Akuma's constrictor grip causing my organs to fail.

After about three minutes of non stop running, we finally burst into the courtyard, barely missing a couple students as William tried to slow down. The sudden stop that resulted flung both me and Akuma off of his back, both of us laughing our heads off.

Will offered each of us a hand, which we gladly took, all of us were extremely happy in only being a minute late, until we heard someone clearing their throat behind us. The smiles were instantly wiped off of our faces and we turned slowly, looking at the worst professor at the Priory.

Professor Epans glared at us, with a look that could curdle milk. He cleared his throat again before speaking.

"Glad you three could join us...since you are so glad and joyful in being late, why don't you have a seat Ms. Kuroyuki, while Mr. Beleren and Mr. Thorskard be the first volunteers against the reigning champions of the Duel Club, Zara and Zenin." He sneered at us, while me and William made our way to Mrs. Kojiro, the professor setting up the duel.

She used her own magic to set up a link between our subconscious minds to a large monitor that had been set up for the occasion. And then connected our thoughts to a series of remotes and headphones that were being handed to all the watching students. She had explained that we would be put to sleep. And our dreamscapes would be linked together, within the link, we still retain our magic, and would have to fight without any harm to our bodies. Our fight would be projected on the screens, and our thoughts to the remotes and headphones. People could watch what was going on and listen to what we were thinking....hopefully they screen certain thoughts....my mind tends to wander.

She had explained we'd be put to sleep, and fight it out, either to dream death, or till we gave in.

"Any questions?" Mrs. Kojiro asked. Smiling at us at an attempt to ease our conscience.

I raised my hand. "Mrs. Kojiro? I have a question...is this going to hur~"

"Ok! Good luck and have fun!" She waved her hands at us, causing all four of us to collapse into a deep slumber.

When I woke up, I quickly stood up, alert. I turned around and saw we were in a circular arena, that was good, no where to run, no where to hide. I quickly got William up, and looked around for Zara or Zenin, to no avail. The hairs on the back of my head were on end, and I couldn't help but feel queasy.
