There was a sudden flash of light, and everyone either had to close their eyes, turn their heads, or risked being blinded. When the light faded away, we all turned to see the crest of~~~~~~

The crest of Erwyn, floating above me. The Erwyn table erupted into cheers, and the only thing I could do was sit there and stare blankly into space, with my arms still up in the air. Luna and Alex had to come and pull me off the stage, and pulled me to sit down next to them and Akuma. We talked for a while, and I found out that Akuma had powers to manipulate darkness and water. I was having the best time!

Then someone came up behind me and shoved me....ugh! It was Nathaniel from Zerath...man that kid drives me nuts! Well anyway, I lurched forward, and my most top secret secret was revealed.

You see, I am a prince from the far off place of illusia, from the illusion isles. And I'm never supposed to take this little living metal circlet I wear. Living metal is one of the most rare and precious metals that comes from the Illusion Isles. And it's only used for the royal family's crowns and jewelry.

Since I'm a prince, I don't have an intricate crown like my father. It's just a basic circlet made out of the living metal. Living metal is kinda like my eyes, it's rainbow, and fluctuates color.

Only makes of the royal family are able to bend and manipulate it, even going as far as multiplying how much living metal there is. When a royal family member touches it, it glows multiple colors, like the aurora borealis. But, if we want to, we can make it so that the metal can spontaneously liquify and solidify and we can manipulate that way. We can also turn a drop of the metal into a whole ton if we chose to, but it drains us greatly in terms of magical energy.

So the rainbow piece of metal flew off of its perch on my head and onto the table. That can't be good.

Before anyone could notice, I swiped it off of the table, hiding it on my lap.

"Summon: illusion" I whispered, wrapping the circlet in shadows so that its hidden from view if someone had looked down at my lap.

"What was that?" Alex asks, looking around the table for my circlet.

"Uh I don't know, maybe someone threw a utensil? But hey how to we get to the house?" I tried desperately to change the subject.

"I don't think so, I can sense darkness being used to cloak an object, right there!" Akuma sweeps her hand right across my lap....whew, that was a little too close for comfort there...WAIT MY CIRCLET!

"Care to explain, your majesty?" She said, turning the circlet in her hands and inspecting it.

"Alright, time to come clean guys, I guess it's about time, but I wish I could've waited a bit longer." I hung my head, my knees suddenly more interesting than the table of food in front of me.

"Guys I am a~."
