Nosmas P.O.V

I can't believe I'm doing this...I was asking Akuma to the dance in the most ridiculous way possible...but it was my way, and I was sort of proud of it.

Here's what I planned to do.

Aramis would run up to Akuma, all panicked and scared and such, and tell her that I wasn't moving and that I was unresponsive. Hopefully she'd freak out and run to our room in a hurry. Once inside, Aramis would lock the doors and summon a couple of sealing runes or two to keep her inside. I'd be inside of course, but completely fine, then I'd ask her to the dance, just the two of us.

To avoid having a sort of stage fright around Akuma, since she had such and effect on me, I had Aramis summon a pair of pills for me. These pills would allow me to do one charming and seductive act without any fear or repercussions. Without these pills, I knew just being in close proximity with Akuma would short out my thought process.

Was it wrong to allow Akuma to think I may have died? Probably...but it's for a good cause, solitude.

After class was when we put our plan in action. I attached a video feed onto Aramis' circlet, so I could see and hear what was going on. I also implanted a telepathic link through my Archive magic, so I could speak with him telepathically. This is what I saw.

"AKUMA AKUMA AKUMA COME QUICK!!!!!" He shouted, running up to the poor girl.

"Aramis? What's wrong? It's not Zenin is it?" Aww, that's cute, she thinks I'd let Zenin near her.

"No! It's Nosmas! Something's wrong with him! I came back from my free period and he was face down on the bed!" He was panting heavily and the tone of his voice had so much fear and panic in it. I almost complimented him as a good actor until I realized he was using his magic. I was surprised...he was a clever little royal..

"WHAT?!" She all but screamed, bolting past him and speeding towards our room, Aramis in tow.

Within a few minutes there was something beating down the door, and it flew off of its hinges after three punches from Akuma.

She rushed in, before seeing that I was ok, she stopped in her tracks, but it was too late.

"Summon: Runic Barrier!" Aramis yelled, sending out a purple bolt of magic. The bolt hit the floor, and a purple and gold door grew in its place, it shimmered slightly, before solidifying.

"What's going on?" Akuma said, her onyx eyes staring at me, I wanted to melt right there, but resisted the urge to, instead putting on what I hoped was a confident and cocky smile. I slowly walked towards her. "Nosmas? Something wrong?" She squeaked out. My grin grew bigger as I gently took both of her hands in mine.

Faster than she could react, my hand flew to her lower back, the other to her neck as I dipped her backwards, our faces inches apart as her face turned fifty shades of pink. "Nosmas?" She whimpered softly, and it made my heart throb.

"Akuma I have a question. And it's very important. Do you want to be my date to the dance?" I asked, suddenly glad for those pills Aramis gave me. My voice was deeper, more resonant and suave, I knew she wouldn't say no.

"No."

My world shattered, I pulled her back up and sat down on my bed, eyes wide and mouth gaping. I could feel my eyes sting as tears threatened to spill over. I thought we had mutual feelings for each other...but I guess I was wrong.

"Only because I don't like this you." She finished.
