Pitter Patter.
Pitter Patter.
Kaedehara Kazuha found himself repeatedly tapping his pen to his paper. The young poet was hopeful. Hopeful that the words would flow out as they once did. Like a dam that'd burst, his poems practically used to write themselves, but not anymore.
Grunting in frustration, Kazuha tosses his pen. He grabs his head in his hands and slams his elbows to the desk at which he sat. He looked up to the window in front of him, raindrops falling from the sky.
Soon, the sky wasn't the only one crying. Tears filled Kazuha's eyes as thoughts of his friend filled his mind. If only he'd been quicker. Maybe he could've saved him, or at least caught the sick fuck that did it. It'd only been a few days since the incident took place. He couldn't get over him. He couldn't get over how badly he wanted to be more than friends with that man. That man that is long gone.
In an attempt to clear his mind, Kazuha pulled a book from the shelf next to his desk. He sat on his bed on the other side of the room, eventually falling asleep to the sound of the rain and the words of the book.
