Meanwhile...
Maddy had arrived inside her closet in her bedroom.
It was quiet, dark and cool...
Just the way she liked it.
As she was looking around in the dark, she then began to feel something warm.
Maddy looked down and saw that it was her time stone that was around her neck.
She giggled.
"What you showing me now?" Maddy asked, finally talking.
The time stone glow got brighter and now, Maddy could see what it was showing.
It was a flashback from 2005 from when she was a year old and her father Michael Phelps was still with them.
<~ Flashback ~>
June 14, 2005
Maddy was in her baby pool, in her Pampers swimming diaper and splashing the water that surrounded her.
Michael chuckled at her.
"That's my little girl. Show the water that you mean business!" He said, proud that Little Maddy was getting used to the water.
As Maddy continued splashing the water while Michael watched, the front door of the house opened and Nicole came walking out, carrying a pitcher of lemonade and two cups, alongside a cold bottle of formulated milk for Maddy.
Michael turned around as Nicole now approached him.
"Hi, dear." He said, after she put everything down on the patio table that was in between the two lounge chairs.
"Hi, my dear Mikey." Nicole said, looking into his blue eyes and the two were now sharing a kiss.
The kiss didn't last too long because someone splashed them with water.
Thank goodness Nicole had a towel with her.
The two looked over at their daughter Maddy and saw her levitating the water out of the pool.
Nicole and Michael were shocked.
How could their daughter do something like that...?
As they were trying to figure something out, a black SUV pulled up.
Michael sighed sadly.
He didn't want to leave his wife and his daughter behind.
Nicole stood protectively in front of Maddy.
Michael knew exactly who it was that was now getting out of the SUV.
Phil Coulson and Maria Hill.
"Mr. Phelps..." Phil said, addressing him.
Michael shook his hand.
"Phil... Maria, it's great to see you both!" He said, happy to see his two close friends from work.
Maria smiled.
