"Suspect is heading south." Erin tells us on the walkie. As soon as the car pulled to a stop, Jay and I hopped out and took off towards the suspect on foot. When we arrived, Voight tells us he lost him. I gave Jay a look and he shrugged. The next day Jay had offered to go get coffee together. I watched as he walked out as he talked on the phone. "I've been tracking Lonnie Rodiger's card, Jin says he just bought something from a toy store." Jay tells me. We watched as Lonnie walked out and got in his car then Jay's radio beeped. "Go for Jay." "Where are you two at." Voight asks. "On our way in." Jay tells him. "Head to Chinatown. Sending you the address." "You got it." The scene was already surrounded by cops. "Let's go." Voight tells us as soon as we made it to the group. "Triad casino." Voight says as we walk up the stairs. "A lot of money rolls through here." Jay says. "You feeling lucky?" Linsey asks. "Luckier than them." I say as I enter an office area to find 4 bodies. "Over here." Antonio says. "They killed the damn errand boy too." He tells us as we look at the kids body, I had to look away and take a deep breath. "Ava, you alright?" Voight asks. "Kids always bother me, but yeah, I'm good." I tell him. "Surgical." Antonio says as we watch the CCTV footage. "They were startled by the kid." "Weapons, uniforms." Voight says. "Military, for sure. These guys are pros." Jay tells him. "I want a copy of this in the intelligence office before we get back." Voight tells us. After we finished up, we went back to the precinct and waited for everyone to get back. "All right, this is an illegal triad gambling den. It's one of two dozen that vice thinks they operate in the area. Problem is they tend to shut down and pop somewhere else quickly." "Who's their competition?" Voight asks. "Cermak Crew." Jay tells him "They got a lockdown on the illegal lotto in the neighborhood. They take the nickels and dimes, and the triads take the bigger cash." "This Cermak Crew looking for a bigger piece?" Antiono asks. "Yeah, they could be." Jay tells him. "All right, it's a start. Where's Olinsky and Ruzek?" Voight asks. "Coming in from the cold." Antonio tells him. "Okay. Party people, listen up. I went back seven days and downloaded all in-progress and service calls in close proximity to the Chinatown quad. We got three calls on suspicious vehicles. I ran the plates. Legit, legit, but the third came back a ghost. I put that plate into our lookout database and just got a text back with its location... 236 West 21st... right back in Chinatown." Jin tells us then imitates gun noises. "That's another triad gambling den. It looks like a karaoke bar from the outside, but they're playing pai gow once you go in." Jay tells us. " All right, let's go." Voight tells us then turns to talk to Jin. " S.U.V.'s here, nobody inside." Voight tells us over the walkie. "Sit and wait, or move in?" Antonio asks. "Halsteads... why don't you get in there and see what we're dealing with." Voight tells us over the walkie, and I stepped out of my car and followed Jay. We made sure the coast was clear then walked down a hall labeled private. "Tell me who the guy was, huh?" We hear. "I don't know." "Tell me who the guy was!" We hear yelling and something smashing, we watched as one of the guys held a gun in the others mouth and as we were about to go in, I felt the barrel of a gun held to the back of my head. "Jay." I said calmly and he turned to look at me. "What's happening slick?" The guy holding the gun asks. "Door." The man tells me as he grabs my arm and I pull the door shut. "Let's go." He tells us. "We're just trying to score some coke from my boy Peng, man." Jay tells him. "Peng? Peng who?" The guy asks. "Hell, if I know. I just buy coke from him." Jay tells him as the guy shows him a badge. "You're police? Oh, man." "Get to stepping." The guy tells us. "O... okay. Sorry." Jay says and grabs my arm as to pull me out of harm's way. "They were cops?" Jin asks as we got back to the precinct and told the team. A file was thrown on the table with the guy that was holding a gun in a triads mouth. "This the guy you two saw?" Voight asks us. "Yeah." I tell him. "He had his gun in the triad's mouth." I tell him. "You know him?" Antonio asks. "That's Jimmy Shi. We were partners when I first came up. Me and Jimmy worked the gang unit together with Alvin. Ivory tower recognized he'd be better served working undercover in Chinatown." Voight tells us. "Yeah, perfect place for him." Alvin says. "He's got his own Vice squad now... all Chinese cops." Voight tells us. "All I can tell you is he was dressed like the guys in the video, and he was looking awfully cranked." Jay says. "So why don't we put a tail on him, see what's what?" Erin asks.  "Cause it ain't him." Voight tells her. "How do you know?" She asks. "Because I do. He's police." He tells her. "You're the boss. Excuse me." She says as she walks away. "Fall back, we're going to put a tail on Jimmy." Voight tells us over the walkie so as the van drove away, we followed. Antonio told us about the rest of the visa team, and we followed. "Let them make entry." He tells us. "Everybody move." He tells us after they did. "Antonio. You, Olinsky, and Atwater take the front. "We'll take the back." Voight tells us the plan. We entered the back through the kitchen and heard yelling. "Chicago PD. No one move." Antonio yells and everything was at a standstill. "Drop your weapons." Voight tells them. "Slowly." After a minute the masked man slowly lowered himself and we made our arrest. We went back to the station and Platt stopped me as I entered. "Halstead." Jay and I both stopped to look at her. "The pretty one." She tells us and I stick my tongue out at Jay. "What is it?" I ask her. "Summer's school called again." She tells me. "What was it about this time?" I ask. "They said she didn't show up for the last 3 periods and haven't seen her since." She tells me. "I have officers out looking for her." "I know where she went. Will you let Voight know where I went." She nods and I walked away. "What was that about?" Jay asks. "Summer ran away again." I tell him. "Do you need me to go?" He asks. "No, it's about time I stand up to him." I tell him and leave the precinct.
