"What happened?" Antonio asks as I look at the women in the hospital bed. "She swallowed a bottle of Xanax because I lost our business. Can we do this another time?" Hanson asks. "Some guys from Maxwell Investments pay you a visit?" Antonio asks. "Had one good cleaners we built from scratch. Bank wouldn't give us a loan for a second location, so I borrowed from Maxwell's. Things didn't work out so good. Couldn't get out of the red and... and when I didn't repay them fast enough, they took both our stores." Hanson tells us. "Yeah, and blowing them away with a gun would probably take care of the vig." I tell him. "Oh, am I torn up that those leaches are dead? Not for a second." Hanson tells us. "Dad? What's going on?" We turn to see a girl and boy enter. "They're just here to ask some question, hun. It's okay." "You guys want to step outside?" I ask them as I lead them out. "Is this about my mom?" The girl asks me. "Actually, I need to know where your dad was all day." I tell them. "With us, why?" The girl tells me. "Look, why don't you take your brother home? You guys should get some sleep, okay?" I tell them. "This is where I need to be." The boy tells me. "Okay." I nod. "How are the kids?" Antonio asks as he leaves the room. "At a Lost." I tell him. "It's always that way, huh? Parents do dumb things, the kids take the burn." Antonio tells me. "We got to run the dad. See if he bought a gun recently." "Halstead." I answer as I put my phone to my ear. "Thanks. There's another shotgun victim in Bridgeport." I tell him. "Yo. gun shell was found in the garage, 10-guage. We're looking into the lot number to see where it was bought." Jay tells Antonio. "You run a check on Dale Hansen?" I ask him. "Yeah, he hasn't bought a shotgun. Legally." He tells us. When I got home after picking Summer up we headed home only to find it broken into. I grabbed my phone and sent Jay a text. Summer stay here if someone comes near you scream." I tell her and she nods. I walked into my apartment to find destroyed. I noticed the pictures of me and Jay littered along the floor. "Ava!" I hear Jay shout as he enters. "I think they were looking for you." I tell him as I hand him the picture. "Why don't you and Summer stay with me tonight just in case." I he tells me. "Was yours broken into as well?" I ask. "Yeah." He tells me. "I can stay with Melody." I tell him. "Alright." He says. After he left we knocked on Melody's door. "Hey I was wondering if we could stay the night at your place mine got broken into." I tell her. "Yeah sure." She smiles and let us in. I entered the bullpen early the next morning just as Adam was hanging up a picture on the board. "This mean anything to you?" He asks. "That's the kid from the hospital." Jay tells everyone. "That's Dale Hansen's son." Antonio and I nod since we had seen the kid at the hospital. We did some more research and Erin was the first to step up. "Nate Hansen was enrolled at the Union Hill Military Academy in Arizona. His TAC officer says he was first in his class but three days ago, he disappeared. That was the day after his mother overdosed." Erin tell us as she hangs up the kid picture. "I just checked with the school's armory. They're missing a Browning gold 10-gauge, along with a box of shells." Antonio tells us. "Let's grab this kid up." Voight tells us. "Chicago police!" Atwater yells getting ready to brake the door in when it was opened by the sister. "My brother's not here." She tells us. "Get back, get back." We entered and had the parents' sit on the couch. "Eyewitness described your son to a "T." Antonio tells them. "I think you got squeezed, you wanted some retribution, so you sent your son to do it for you." Jay tells them. "I swear we just found out what Nate was doing. He ran off maybe a half hour ago." The father tells us. "We're all clear, guys. No Nate, no weapon." Erin tells us as he climbs the stairs. "If you had nothing to do with it, how did Nate know who to target?" Voight asks. "The three of them. Marcello, Fagan, and Valeo showed up one night. When I said I'd go to the cops, they threatened my life. My kids. Nate saw them do this. He saw me cower and beg. The look on his face. It's my fault." Mr. Hanson tells us. "If you find Nate, please don't hurt him." The sister tells us. "That's up to him." Alvin tells her. "Is there anyone else who leaned on you, your son might be gunning for?" Voight asks. "Uh... There was a boss who I paid money to a few times. Enrietto." Mr. Hanson tells us. "Don Enrietto?" Voight says as we leave. I ran out my car after meeting up with the team who were on foot. "We got a ping on Hansen's phone. It's right around here somewhere." Adam tells us. "Where?" I ask. "I don't know, this thing says right here." He tells us. "Police!" We hear a lady yell. "What happened?" Erin and I ran over to her. "A kid. He had a gun." The women tells us. "A white kid in a Navy hoodie?" I ask her and she nods. "Hey, he dumped his phone." Jay tells us holding up the phone. "He took my car." The lady sobs. "What kind of car?" I ask after she told us we started getting the roads closed. "Guys? White male with a gun just stormed into Chicago Med." Erin tells us. "That's where Hansen's mother is." Antonio tells us and we all rushed to or cars. We rushed into the hospital. "Wait, wait, wait. Hey, put your gun down. Put them down. Put your gun down!" Jay says as he and Erin got to the desk. "Stay back!" The kid tells us. "Nate. Listen to me, okay? I was in the army. Third battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. My name is Jay. And I know exactly what you're feeling right now." Jay tells him as he drops his gun. "Please. Listen to him." Nate's mother tells him. "You were trained to protect. And that's what you did. But it's over, okay? So I need you to just put your gun down. And I promise you, you're gonna walk out of here. You're 17. They can't charge you as an adult, all right? You could still make a deal." Jay tells the kid. "They won't shoot me?" Nate asks. "Buddy, they got to shoot me first." Jay tells him. When Nate released the shell from the gun everyone let out a breath of relief. Nate handed him the gun who handed it to Erin.
