It has been about year since the death of Raditz and the warning about the two Saiyans that are to arrive. You and Goku grew up together, both of the same race. You somewhat classed yourselves to be siblings though not being blood related at all. You arrived to earth in your teens, meeting Goku when he was older. You were previously taken in by Frieza however escaped, though you thought it was suspiciously easy causing you to be anxious about your every move. Nobody on Earth knows about your upbringing with Frieza nor who they are. You escaped to earth purely because of a vision, a vision of life, beauty, nature, worth and love. And this was all placed on Earth. You knew of your race's purpose and heritage, you definitely kept hold of their power and drive, however your motives would be seen as taboo or alternative. You weren't destructive like your peers on Frieza's ship. You stayed away from Raditz battle on earth, knowing he'd recognise you and take you to Frieza or notify them that you were here. You never had a strong relationship with Raditz, a few sparing sessions in the same room but never with each other, exchange glances and that was about it. You do remember him talking to himself when you were around 11 about his father and how he looks up to him. A specific figure you remember sparing with was Nappa, you never really took it seriously, you'd win a few times but Nappa usually had the physical advantage. He was certainly older and seemed to look out for or group really. He was a 'harsh friend'.

Pondering to the third and final Saiyan on Frieza's ship... Vegeta. He was mysterious and his facial expression was hard to read, always seemed to have furrowed brows. He was definitely... prideful. He saw himself as above his peers and seemed to have a cheek to him, it was different compared to Raditz and Nappa, you liked it. You never spoke a lot however you built some sort of relationship with Vegeta. He sort of vented but usually expressed it with no emotion or with a scowl, like you were being told off. But  you understood why he'd be upset, his future was stolen and his people are almost extinct and its only a matter of time of when we will be. His superiority complex and obsession with pride never helped his expression with emotion, it just lead you to worry about when all this trauma will explode from being bottled up in a 'I'm too important and proud to be upset' mindset. But other than that you were usually assigned to be with him a lot until you turned 15-16 as an assistant basically. However once you started becoming independent from each other you sort of drifted. However had casual spars, chats and walks around the ship. But you couldn't seem to get your mind off your vision. You had a plan of escape, let your mind take you to a home. You never opened up to Vegeta about it in detail but you did mention the image of what you now know to be Earth. He never looked or thought much of the topic but he know that you were planning something. He never asked or got to ask you. Within hours you disappeared. Took a pod after destroying its location and path tracking. Vegeta was taken back by it when informed by Frieza, but to nobody's surprise he didn't show a glimpse of emotion besides a second of shock. As the days went on he felt like he'd lost a presence. It took him about 2 months to realise that you were his safe space. He wouldn't admit it but he knew he could talk to you. He began thinking if he'd ask how you were doing or let you open up more to him you wouldn't of left. He eventually blocked you out of his head by constantly training and preparing for the future.

Reaching earth felt like heaven. Everything you saw was magical, mystical, Peaceful. You lived in a cave in a mountain for a while, living with wildlife and feeding on berries, herbs, vegetables that grew on the native terrain. You continuously adventured out and met groups of people and cities. It was all so beautiful. You took notice to the human race. The were, emotive, had aspirations, passions and were pushed by love. Something that was less than rare on Planet Vegeta. After looking over all this knowledge about Earth, you felt a wave of sadness. Depression. All these years, your kind have made their life off taking life from others, taking beauty and destroying it. You knew you had to protect this planet, this was your home, your paradise.

Meeting Goku around 15 caused you to get back into fighting after watching him at a tournament and detecting his strong and pure soul. Meeting the rest of the fighters and getting used to civilised life came quickly. You often switched between your Saiyan Battle Armour and [Insert your signature outfit!]. You can Chichi became close and was like an Aunt to Gohan. Gohan's birth made you the happiest but mortified. His tail concerned you deeply. But you convinced yourself that other races must have tails, there's no way it's just Saiyans. But with the arrival of Raditz, Goku's identity as Kakarot and being a pure blood Saiyan was confirmed and was a splash of relief almost. It wasn't just you, there is another two, if we're including Gohan.

But here we are now, Goku is dead and the two saiyans are approaching and could get here at any moment now. Goku should be back soon to help us against the two Saiyans. You knew it would be Vegeta, you wanted to see him, even just speak to him. You felt a wave of guilt for just leaving but you didn't think he would really care, yet you still felt you owed an apology. You definitely missed his dark mysterious presence, in modern times you have to admit you took an unintentional fancy the the guy. You both never acknowledged it or spoke on it but the body language could have easily been translated. Your tails naturally gravitated to one another, though never wrapped around one another, they would brush against each other often. There would always be an awkward pause when it happened. But snapping back to reality, you were awaiting Goku's return...
