Guldo was killed by the help of Vegeta, though I thought we could maybes find a way around it, it was inevitable. Our adventure doesn't become too interesting for a while, me and Vegeta worked together to defeat Recoome, however we had trouble. Both Gohan and Krillin attempted to fight Recoome after us both, they also had issues. I limped over to Vegeta holding my arm. If I were to bleed out at least I wasn't sitting in the grass by myself. We were desperate for Goku's arrival. Krillin was so close to completely passing out.

"Gohan? Gohan! Get up!" I screamed as I noticed his limp body on the ground. My body was broken, shattered, I couldn't move.

"The boy's fine." Vegeta grunted latching onto his arm signalling his injury.

"He's not like us. He's part human. There's a high chance he will never be able to match our tolerance. They can die from pain alone." I stare at him.

"You worry too much. You need to look out and think more about yourself." He looked at me.

"You need to take the opposite advice." I side eye.

"One thing you'll never grow out of is your stubbornness." He grunted.

"Hypocritical don't you think?"

"Never said it was a bad thing." He raised a brow.

"Shit." I switched the topic to my waist, there was dark blood, almost black coming through my clothing. Vegeta noticed the amount leaking and shuffled hastily.

"Why didn't you say anything you fucking idiot." He applied pressure to the wound.

"What? What are you talking about?" I look closely to my waist, vision becoming blurry and I slowly fell back, lying on the ground.

"Your liver is bleeding. Badly. Fuck." Vegeta looked around, thinking of a solution.

"I'm sorry." I began to tear, it was almost like I was drunk, but I was just so confused and semi unconscious.

"For what?" He lifted my back to a level, his face above mine, making sure I was still alive.

"If I die. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for leaving you behind all those years ago." I tried to focus on his face.

"I don't need your pity. Especially if they'd possibly be your final words." He frowned.

"But it's true." I whispered, losing energy. "There was never a day that went by where I never thought where you were or how you are. Hoping if in some point in our lives we'd cross paths again." I coughed with a splatter of blood. Vegeta wiped it away with his finger with the same furrowed brow expression and sighed.

"Y/N."

"I never had a chance to make a wish with the dragon balls."

"But there's something you'd wish for?" His eyes softened,

"Yes..."

"What's your wish." In case if this is my end, Vegeta tried to use up that time so I wouldn't leave in silence and emptiness. In that regard I was grateful.

"I would have wanted to wish that we were two different people. People who need not to say goodbye." I didn't want to die not feeling a close bond. Vegeta was the closest I had to that. Even after these years of separation. We were still good friends. Friends is a funny word. I place my hand on his chest and I felt myself slowly drifting off. "I wanted to be by your side through my entire life. If I betray you, I betray myself. But If I betray them, I betray my friends... my family. My family is very dear to me." I glance at Gohan and Krillin in the distance for a few seconds.

"Dearer than I?"

"... No... Not dearer than you..." My hand slowly gravitated towards his cheek however before it made contact, my hand fell as I slowly began to die. Everything fell black and all I could hear was muffled slurred words.

It was dark. For a while. Was this death? It was close enough. I didn't feel quite dead yet. It felt like standing on invisible matter above the abys. That abys began to fade back to the Namek green skies. My eyes fluttered as I looked around. "GOKU?!" My body was back to normal, thank goodness for senzu beans, and I sprinted from Vegeta over to Goku into a spinning hug. Vegeta just looked away. It was a bit awkward.

"Jeez! Almost though we'd lost you there Y/N. You need to be careful. But I'm glad to see you again." Goku smiled and ruffled my hair.

"I missed you so much. I'm so glad you're back..." I let go and gave him a huge warm smile.

Vegeta just kept looking away. He had a weird feeling, it made him feel strange that Y/N cared so much for him but not like Goku who treats her better than he ever has.

"Now, I have something to deal with." Goku turns over to the remaining Ginyu Force members.
