I walked outside to see Gohan moving around, testing his new armour. I was the same at his age when I first tried mine. It was a mesmerising moment. As much as I hated the system of which these were issued, I loved the armour, not only was it effective, it looked good.

"What you think you're doing?" Vegeta crossed his arms and directed towards Gohan, walking past me. "So kid, what's taking your bald headed buddy so long to get that stupid password?" I frowned at his question and crossed my arms back at the attitude towards Gohan.

"Wait. He'll show." Gohan also frowned in response.

"It hasn't even been an hour. We have to watch Goku in the meantime anyways." I looked to Vegeta.

"Whatever." He shrugged and walked back into the ship. "In the meantime, you better keep an eye on the dragon balls. Because if you lose them I'll be totally pissed. Well, I think it's time for a little nap." I rolled my eyes at his response.

"You're taking a nap?" Gohan asked.

"Well, with you wearing that new armour, I feel real safe!" Vegeta walked off while laughing at his own sarcasm, I just cringed and looked away.

"It amazes me that you guys were close. You're nothing alike." Gohan looked to me.

"Yeah. I wish I understood the whole situation myself." I sighed.

"Were you guys like best friends or something or just like-"

"We were just good friends, not like anything more. Just happened to be in the same situation, just some relatability there." I scratched my head and shrugged.

"I see. I don't like the guy but I think you're good for him." Gohan tilted his head.

"You're funny Gohan."

"No, seriously. I think everyone needs someone to pull them out of that kind of stuff. It's not like I'd know but I just hear about it." Gohan shrugged.

"I see where you are coming from, but I don't want to be the crutch of someone's redemption." I turned to walk back to the ship to check on Goku.

"Makes sense." He turned around to watch the dragon balls and I walked to the ship.

A few doors past, I found the medical room, seeing that Goku was still healing. Vegeta seemed dead to the world to the right.

'Is he sleeping?' I raised a brow but it slowly dropped to a soft smile.

I noticed some clutter on the ground and I decided to clean it up. It wasn't necessary, and it wasn't gonna effect anything, this ship is bound to blow up anyways. But whatever makes the time pass by then that's what it will be. I couldn't help but notice the calm, peaceful smile on Vegeta's face as he slept. It's the first time out of the many years of being sent out together that I've seen his face as he slept, he usually would face the other way when we were out on missions and such. He just seemed so, peaceful.

'I will not fall for your charm. I won't feed into your silly little games.' I shook my head and resumed to cleaning up.

'Maybe's sleeping isn't such a bad idea. My body is aching and my lack of sleep is going to drive me insane... ten minutes shouldn't hurt.' I look to Vegeta and then the spot on the other side of the isolation chamber. "Why not." I whispered. I took a deep breath and let my mind go.

"You're doing well. But this whole thing you are playing with Vegeta is not what I had in mind." I heard a familiar voice, I opened my eyes and it was dark. A dark abyss.
