Months passed.

Despite thinking you were getting somewhere with Vegeta, it didn't last long. Prioritising himself and his goals above all else. Which to you, didn't come as an honest surprise. He'd left to find Goku, leaving the Earth entirely without even telling you.

Speaking of Goku, he was still out there in Space making his way back, days went fast but still no sign of Goku. Nor Vegeta. It became a constant loop of identical days, almost like they had all blended together. In fact, you began to feel a bit lonely. The things you liked to do didn't even come to you as a side thought, you almost dropped them completely. You mostly slept and trained on your own. Completely cutting yourself away from others. But that didn't mean people didn't try and talk to you, Bulma and Krillin often reached out for gatherings but you often declined. You wouldn't call yourself depressed but by definition, you were. Bulma got the idea, and she wasn't going to let it continue.

Your phone kept buzzing as you were asleep at what looked to be 3 in the afternoon. You groaned and shifted a little, just letting it ring out, hoping it was a one off call that you could ignore. But to your dread, it was a call after call.

"Ugh!" You sat up and ripped your duvet off of yourself. Only in a baggy tee which you had been wearing for a few days now. You glanced at the name on your phone, sighing, clearing your throat and answered. "Hello?"

"Oh wow, I really didn't think you'd pick up!" Bulma's voice came through your phone up next to your ear.

'Not like I had a choice...' You thought to yourself as you glanced down and away. "Yeah, I was just making food..." You trailed off as you lied.

"I see." Bulma replied, "I just wanted to check up on you, I haven't heard from you in so long!" Her voice was a little louder but then turned into concern, "You're usually more talkative than this. I know you like your alone time but it's been months... Is everything really okay?"

You stayed silent for a moment, thinking of what to say, you didn't really know what to say actually, not only were you in denial about your state but you wouldn't know how to admit it. "I- Yeah, yeah I'm fine, I just feel a little tired, I've been training more than usual." You attempted to cover up, walking over to your kitchen to get a glass of water, your fridge was almost empty and you had barely any food left. Naturally letting out a sigh.

"I could come around, I'm passing by near your place anyways." Bulma added. This caused you to shudder slightly, your home wasn't a mess, but it looked like a hospital, just awfully blank. Just that all the curtains and blinds are closed, only a small amount of light coming through.

"No, no, it's okay. I need to tidy up anyways-" You went to decline but you cut you off regardless.

"I'm not stupid Y/N." Bulma sighed, "You don't have to tell me anything. But just let me help you."

You paused and closed your eyes and sighed. "Okay..." You gave in, Bulma would always get her way regardless. You needed this anyways. You couldn't keep this cycle up.

About an hour passed. You heard a knock on the door after you actually changed into some new clothes and let some light into the place. Made you look a bit more sane. You opened the door to see Bulma with a few bags of stuff.

"Hey, Y/N! Good to finally see you." You let Bulma in. Walking over to your kitchen counter and placed some groceries into its respective places.

"Thanks...?" You were confused, but grateful to say the least, she seemed to have done a bit of shopping for you, a woman's intuition is unmatched, its like she just knew. "You didn't have to, you know?"

"This is the least I could do." Bulma continued putting some of the stuff away. "I just want the best for my sister." She smiled.

You did crack a bit of a smile back, which was the first in a long time. "Thanks."
