9 - The Ginyu Force

Me and Bulma walked across the land to find our ravine. "Too much excitement for one day..." Bulma seemed droopy and tired. But it wasn't a foreign thought, I was used to the idea of how tired humans get compared to us.
She was sent back to reality with a quick blast at her feet I flinched and Bulma faded away to shield the dragon ball.

"Where are the rest of the dragon balls!" Two of Friezas men appeared. "It's Y/N, wheres Vegeta!" The other Said to my direction. The entire force thinks we're joint to the hip it's crazy. I just frowned and positioned myself whist Bulma shook in fear.
"Fine, if you don't want to talk to us you can talk to Lord Frieza instead!"

"B-but he-" Bulma froze.
"Come here!" On of his men grabbed her arm.
"Get off her!" I kicked him away and he collapsed on the wall.
"Why you!" He shot his blaster at my direction and I dodged them while coming closer and kicking him up in the air then punching him down again.
"Ugh!" The other man grabbed Bulma and took her away.
"You bastards! I'll never let you take us to him! Ill never let him hurt me ever again!" I threw him off and sent a ki hast his way, tearing him apart. I fell back to the ground and fainted.

I wasn't one to fight hard. This was horrible. If this was Vegeta he'd be able to kill him with one blast then got on with his life. I do it once and I'm tired... It's not fair... I balled my fist and punched the ground next to my face and began to tear up. It's not fair. I can't go back there... I can't see Frieza... I can't face him again. I won't let him hurt me ever again... But I need to save her. She's like my sister. No. She IS my sister...

"Rrr..GHA." I lifted myself up and dusted myself off. I blasted away looked for her.

"Y/N!"
"Bulma!" I turned to her and she hugged me.
"Oh Bulma, you had me scared."
"Never mind me Y/N... I have the dragon ball I'm just fine, I'm good at convincing people that's all... what about you, you look- you look a mess." She looked at me.
"I'm fine. We need to find cover. Frieza knows we are in this area now, we need to go!" I grabbed her hand and flew off. "Agh!" She was a bit squirmish.

After some searching we found a similar ravine with a bit more shelter. We set it up like our last, set a few chairs out but this time we kept the dragon ball tied to Bulmas foot so it's not lost, again.
"I just wish they'd hurry up and come back." As soon as she finished she feel to the ground due to the rope being tugged.
"Krillin!" I smiled however he seemed to be concentrating.
"Hey what was that for!" Bulma scratched the back of her head.
"Sorry no time to explain Bulma. I need the dragon ball." Krillin untied the ball. I stood up as I felt another presence.

"Quickly follow me now to the others!" Vegeta came out from the side.
"Wait! I'll be back Bulma!" I blasted off with them wanting answers, it all just happened so fast.

"They're coming we have to go faster!" Vegeta looked over at us.
"Who is what-" I froze and felt the power levels.
"The Ginyu Force!" He replied.
"Are you kidding me?!" I shouted over. "What for?!"
"Frieza is done playing silly games. He's planning to get the job done as soon as possible. There's no time to waste. We need to get the dragon balls now." Vegeta scoffed.

"It's down there!" Vegeta laughed as we dropped to the ground running to his collection. "Come on!" He continued. "Here they- huh?" He looked over at me, Krillin and Gohan, we were stand offish as we are unsure what's trustworthy.

"What are you waiting for?! What is it?!"

"Suddenly- this doesn't feel like a good idea. We might take our chances letting him take the wish." Krillin referred to Frieza and I jumped away in fear.

"This isn't a game." Vegeta scowled.
"I agree. Frieza won't stop destroying here, he'll move onto the next, nobody is safe." I nodded to Vegeta and he huffed.
"Give me that ball! I'm losing my patience. You ignorant fool! You'll kill us all!" Vegeta went to hit Krillin but I grabbed his hand appearing in front of his face. But the awkward pause was halted by the instant presence of someone else...

The Ginyu Force

All of us were stunned, we didn't expect it to happen so quickly. They all greeted Vegeta and laughed. It was awkward. Vegeta knew them more personally than me, I'd seen them around a few times years ago but that was mainly before they were promoted.

"Damn it. Not now. I was so close." Vegeta grunted in disappointment.

"Oh man... How did they get here so fast. I thought we'd have more time!" Krillin shrieked.

"We've came to collect the dragon ball's and you two." Captain Ginyu referred to me and Vegeta. I frowned and stepped back as did Vegeta with a dragon ball in his hand.

"Hey Captain, seems like we have the other five dragon balls here!" Recoome turned to the other dragon balls behind him that we were about to use. Ginyu laughed in return.

"If you'd only listened to us!" Vegeta looked over at Krillin.

"How was I supposed to know. If it was just Y/N, I wouldn't of had a problem."

"Thanks." I rolled my eyes. Not necessarily in annoyance but just irritated that we all didn't act sooner. Ginyu started baffling on about the dragon balls and the group just kept laughing to themselves, I didn't get what was so funny.

"Don't get too cocky! You haven't beaten me yet." Vegeta stood in front of me. Gildo raced to him like it was his turn. However the Ginyu force seemed to have a talk about who was to fight who first. And there was some back and forth, some points where dragon balls were thrown, but Burter's speed gave the ball no chance to hibernate somewhere. They wanted me and Vegeta to be brought back alive. What Frieza wanted me for was still a mystery. Ginyu took off with the dragon balls, Gohan was about to send a blast over to stop him but Vegeta stopped him to save energy, he'd need it.

Vegeta called us all over to talk about the situation and where to go from here. "It looks like you two will be fighting Guldo. You'll have to use your heads. A direct assault won't work. Do you understand?" He referred to Krillin and Gohan. "Didn't you say earlier Kakarot was supposed to be coming here to save everybody?" He looked at me and Krillin.

"I don't know about you, but he'll be coming to save Gohan, me and Y/N."

"He should be here soon. We need to be patient." I added to Krillin's comment.

"I'm not trying to win a popularity contest." He looks away, straight forward passing off Krillin's comment. "And all I'm saying is that we could use his help right now. And I'm not sure how long we have to spare." He side eyed me.

Guldo and Recoome navigated their way towards us and we all stood on guard, ready for anything. Krillin and Gohan began their fight with Guldo.
