\\Chapter 25\\

Tommy POV

School had got out a short while ago and right now Ranboo was driving me home. As we arrived he parked and came around to help me out of the truck.

He walked me to the door, "I'll see ya later for the party. Gonna be here at uh- 7:55pm."

I nodded, "Alright, later Ran."

"Later cupcake." He smiled as I close the door entering my home.

What's the point in him driving to his house and back?....He could just uh-...I dunno, stay perhaps?

I opened the door, "Ra-"

There he stood with his hand up in a fist, ready to knock on my door. He took a step back and rest his hand at his side, "I was just gonna knock....sorry."

"No please, you first." I blushed lightly.

He gulped, "No uh- you go ahead. La- Shorties first, am I right?"

"Excuse me?" I crossed my arms and he had a face of guilt.

"Uh- I was gonna say something, but then I remembered, so I switched it up and now it makes no sense and this is really awkward." He awkwardly laughed.

I gave a half smile, "Let me guess....'Ladies first'?"

He nodded, "Yeah sorry. I know you're not. Which is why I stopped myself. Don't be ma-"

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever- you fixed it, so don't worry, Ran. I'm glad you weren't as disrespectful about it as others. Anyways, I was gonna ask if you wanted to stick around here before the party? Since uh- you're gonna drive me there anyways."

He chuckeld softly, "I was gonna knock and ask if I could stay around for a bit. Since uh- we'll y'know."

"Well perfect then, c'mon in Ranboo." I said opening the door fully to welcome him in, "We can watch a movie before it."

"Cool." Ranboo smiled.

\Time Skip\

"Hey kids, doesn't that party start at eight or something?" My father asked us walking into the living room.

He had gotten home a while ago.

"Uh- yeah." Ranboo chuckled, "C'mon T-"

I groaned and leaned further into him, "Five more minutes."

He blushed lightly, "Okay."

"Oh to be inlove." My father sigh then wander off and upstairs.

I rolled my eyes, "We're just platonic besties, cuddling on a couch. He needs to stop being weird about it."

"Tommy- look at you." Ranboo stifled a laugh.

I took a moment to realize how we were sitting. Ranboo's legs layed on the couch as he sat up against the sofa's arm rest. I lay in between his legs with my back to him. He had one arm around my waist and the other I hugged to my chest. I guess it had all just...happened naturally.

"Its not that deep." I said and leaned back into him, "Its just cuddling."

Ranboo nodded then we stayed like that for a few more minutes till he said, "That was five minutes Tommy, now c'mon. Unless you've changed your mind?"

I shook my head, let go of his arm, and got up. I went to the living room mirror and fixed my hair. Ranboo stood and stretched. I was looking at myself in the mirror then decided, "This isn't working."

Ranboo rolled his eyes, "Come here."

I walked over and he pulled me a little closer by my waist. He took his flannel off of me then tied it around my waist, "Cute."
