Tim's POV
"Lucy?" I asked, waking up to see no one. I sat up and looked around, panicked.
"Luce?" I asked once more, getting out of bed. I heard a noise coming from the bathroom, relieved that she was alright.
I walked to the kitchen to start making some breakfast for her. She walked out of the bathroom, clearly tired.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me.
"I'm fine. I need to move on, I still go see Jackson at his grave every weekend. It still hurts, but I know they are both in a good place. I'm still going to see West though." She said, not letting go.
I continued to make breakfast as she sat down at the counter. She had on her beautiful smile again, God I missed that smile and it was only a day. I sat down our food as I sat next to her. She looked at her phone and got up, smiling.
"I have to go call someone outside, don't follow me or I will file for divorce!" She laughed, walking away. I trust her so I let her go without following her. After about 10 minutes she walks in with a Target bag, trying to hide it behind her back.
"What's in the bag?" I laughed, clearly seeing it. I was cleaning up the kitchen while I waited for her to come in.
"What bag?" She laughed, "I don't see a bag!"
She laughed and ran away to the bedroom, I finished up cleaning before quietly walking to the bedroom to see if I could see what it was.
"No peeking! I can feel your presence!" Lucy yelled from the bedroom.
"How? I'm practically still in the Living room!" I yelled back, laughing. She walked out of the bedroom, smirked, and sat on the couch. I noticed she had on long sleeves now, unlike before. Something was in her sleeve, I know it.
"Put on True crime I have to use the restroom," she said, walking to the bathroom. Something was definitely in her sleeve. I turned on True crime like she had said, and waited.
"Baby!" She yelled from the bathroom, I jumped off the couch and sprinted to the locked bathroom.
"Luce?" I asked, knocking on the door. She opened it with a huge smile on her face.
"Not you baby, I mean baby baby!" She said, handing me a little stick. It took me a moment to register what it was but when I looked back at Lucy, she was crying.
I pulled her into a hug and held her there while we cried tears of joy. This was the next step on our journey, first was engagement, then marriage, then children.
"I love you," she cried. I held her tighter and told her I loved her before she ran to the couch like nothing happened.
"What? I wanna watch True Crime!" She laughed, wiping away her tears. I walked over and sat down with her and we watched it for a while.
The next day
"Let's go!" I yelled as I walked out to the truck. Lucy convinced me she was ready to go back to work, and she got it approved by Grey so we are going back after 2 days off.
Lucy and I spent the drive over planning how we would tell our friends at the station. We came to the conclusion that we were hunt at it during lunch break.
"So I would order more food and say I am now eating for two. Got it!" She said, hopping out of the truck and walking to the locker room with me. We split ways and got our uniforms on.
We got through roll call, only a few more hours. Grey assigned for the two of us to ride together just in case Lucy breaks down again, I could be there. Soon enough, lunch came. We met everyone at the taco truck we normally ate at. Lucy ordered an extra taco and walked over to the table.
"Who's the extra taco for?" Nolan asked, pointing to the taco. Lucy looked at me and to Nolan.
"Soon, wait for everyone else." I said. Nolan looked super confused but didn't say anything else. Soon everyone sat down and Angela asked the same question as Nolan.
"Well, since you guys keep asking, if you must know. I am eating for two now." Lucy said, looking back to me.
"Tim on a diet or what?" Our friend Jacy asked. She wasn't a cop, but we all made friends so she ate with us.
Lucy's POV
I laughed at Jacys comment as I looked at Angela. She laughed as well as everyone else. Nyla smacked the table and looked at me and to Tim. She sat back in her chair with a smirk.
"It was positive!" She said, everyone still a little confused on what she was talking about. Nyla was the one who brought me the test in the first place.
"Catch up guys! She's pregnant!" Nyla laughed. Everyone looked happy as they all smiled and hugged me. Soon after we had to get back to patrolling the city. We walked back to the shop after telling everyone to see our shop wrecked.
Glass broken, bumper on the ground, alarm going off, and four dots spray painted on the doors. I walked a little closer and noticed a small piece of paper on the hood.
This is my city, we don't need people like you making it worse for people like me!
We called it in as we waited for Sergeant Grey to arrive, along with many more cops and a new shop. We informed Grey that we hadn't touched anything but the note and the shop was just how we found it.
"We arrived at 12:13 and it is 12:28, giving them 15 minutes to do this and leave. They can't be too far." Tim said, looking around at the car, being careful not to touch anything as we could not work this case. We were the victims.
"Another shop was vandalized 2 minutes ago across town, they aren't working alone. There isn't a way one person could vandalize a shop and get across town to another shop in 20 minutes." Grey informed the crew.
