Lucy's POV

We got in the new shop and headed towards the other side of town, sirens blaring. We were a block away when we saw a man in a hood running from the direction of the attack.

"There. Pull over!" I told Tim. He pulled over and we approached the man as he turned the other way and started running again.

We chased after him as we radioed in our situation. Soon we heard sirens around the corner as Nolan and his rookie pulled in front of the suspect, stopping him. Ross hopped out and immediately cuffed him, motioning for him to sit so we could talk to him.

"Hey I know you!" The man said, still standing, "you are the guy who ruined my life! He arrested my husband and nearly b b l killed my kid!"

"It's the job," Ross replied bluntly.

"You were already a cop?" I asked, he looked at me and shook his head.

"Yeah, on my way to becoming a detective but then life hit hard and I had to move. So I went through the academy and became an LA cop." He informed. The man grunted.

"I'm gonna take a wild guess. You were pissed that a cop ruined your life, so you moved out of your small town where you had too much negative attention and started smashing cop cars?" Tim asked. The man stayed silent.

"Alright let's go, you're under arrest for destruction of cities property. You have the right to stay silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you do not have an attorney one will be appointed to you by the city of Los Angeles free of charge." Nolan stated as the man stood up and was lead to the shop.

"We need to find whoever's helping him, there's no way he's working alone." Ross said, walking to the shop as well. We all agreed and spilt ways, going back on patrol.

"Bradford, channel 9." Grey instructed over the radio.

"Bradford." Tim said, switching it to channel 9.

"I think we identified the other person, our suspect kept referring to her as a girl and with the partial fingerprints we came to the conclusion that it might be Isabel." Grey informed.

"Alright, looking forward to arresting her." I said, under my breath. Tim chuckled at my statement before picking the radio back up.

"In the words of Lucy, looking forward to arresting her. We'll find her, sir." Tim said into the radio, I laughed a little as I realized something.

"She's an ex cop, she's gonna know all our moves and she knows how to avoid getting caught." I said, turning in my seat and placing a hand on Tim's arm.

"No one's perfect. We'll get her. She has an app that allows me to track her phone. I keep getting emails about where she is even though I deleted it after we got a divorce. I guess she never did." He said, handing me his phone. I went to his inbox and clicked on the email.

I tapped on the box that said, Open app on browser. The phone screen went white with a little box that said, "Error, the person you are trying to locate has turned off their location. Please try again later."

"I guess she thought of that first." I said, handing him his phone. He read it quickly and sighed. He pulled over and went to 'recent'. I watched as he tracked her most recent location.

"There," he pointed to an address, "she went to this address twice before turning off her location." He quickly radioed it in and started driving to the location.

When we got close, Tim parked the car and we walked the rest of the block being careful that Isabel didn't see us and run, that is if she was there. We approached the house as we heard loud booming music and saw tons of people outside.

"A party in the middle of the day?" I asked, confused.

"It's a cover, trying to make it look like a harmless party while Isabel's inside, getting ready to leave or making a drug deal. Let's go." He said, walking into the house.

We walked around, making our way through the crowd until we got to the master bedroom where we saw Isabel. She backed up towards the window when she saw us, reaching into a drawer.

"Dont do anything stupid Isabel. It's two against one and right now, you're only a suspect. There isn't any proof other than partial fingerprints on a car you probably rode in while you were a cop." Tim said bluntly.

"Yeah right!" She yelled, grabbing a gun out of the drawer and shooting at us. We ducked behind the door and started shooting back. Soon the shooting stopped on her side. We walked into the room to find no one. The window open.

"Son of a bitch!" I said, hopping out of the window, following her. She had about a block head start. Tim got the shop as I continued to run after her, gun in hand.

Sirens got louder as Isabel was surrounded by cop cars. She ran the other way where I executed a perfect flying tackled, pushing her gun away from her.

"At last we meet again. You are under arrest for shooting at cops, destruction of city property, and resisting arrest. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you do not have an attorney one will be appointed to you by the city of Los Angeles free of charge." I said, putting Isabel in cuffs.

"Have you forgotten you're pregnant? You shouldn't have ran that far, it's not good for the baby or you." Tim said, running up to me after parking the shop.

"I'm fine. I'm only two or three days along. I still have about 5 months before I can't do my job." I reassured him.

"I can process her," Nyla said, grabbing Isabel's arm and leading her to the shop. Cop car cleared one by one as the day calmed down. We got into our shop and made our way back to the station. It had been a long day, I'm so glad it was over. I went to the locker room to get changed where I saw Angela making out with Wesley.

"Careful we don't need a mother baby Lopez just yet!" I laughed, grabbing my clothes and heading to the shower.

I took a quick shower and put on my outfit. I closed my locker and headed to Tim's office when I saw L.J, Her name is Lana Jo but we call her LJ for short. I haven't seen her in a while, first my honeymoon and then she had hers right after. Her and her husband waited to go on their honeymoon so they could attend my wedding, which is so thoughtful.

"Hey! I haven't seen you in so long, how was the honeymoon?" I asked, excitedly giving her a hug.

"It was really fun, but I still think it should be illegal to have a honeymoon under 3 weeks long!" She laughed.

"That's exactly what I said the first day I came back after my honeymoon! Is this your first shift since you went on vacation?" I asked.

"Yeah, how lucky am I to have Night Shift on the first day back? Oh I'm gonna be late, I'll text you later!" She smiled, giving me a hug. I continued my walk to Tim's office.

"Hey! L.Js back-" I started, walking in. As I walked in I noticed Tim wasn't in there, I looked around the hall for him but he was no where. Probably just in the locker room changing.

"Hey, is Tim in there?" I asked Nolan as he walked out of the locker room. Nolan shook his head no and started walking with me.

"Can't find him?" He asked.

"No, he's not in his office or the locker room and those are really the only places I thought he might be." I replied. We started walking into the main area where I heard a loud pop and saw a bunch of balloons.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone, including Nolan, yelled.
