BODYGUARD (On Hold)

chapter - 3

Episode start .

I saw him taking my daughter's hand and leading him towards a car that I haven't see before ..

"Your carriage little miss". He said to her.

If he wasn't a bodyguard then he would have been a good father , I got in after and sejal too joined us. He looked at the review mirror . Then drove us. I wonder still why he was doing this. He didn't getting  paid also , he doesn't mind if my daughter calls him by his first name.

"Mommy , can we get to the toy store ",   I looked at VR nervously . He might not like to drive us around the town.

"Later, we can go together once your mom is at the shop ok?"  Sejal said that made her look at me sadly.

"You promised mom, this time it will be you", I did but I hardly get any time to be with her knowing this is the wedding  Season.

"I am sorry baby  go with sejal aunty, and buy anything you want to ", I told Rhea. She looked away and my eyes  met with vansh's black once . He took a detour and stopped in front of a toy store . I don't know why he did that for.

Rhea opened the doors and walked out Rhea run after him,"  Rhea wait ," and looked at him again.

"After you miss Ridhima ", why ?

I walked towards the toy store with him behind me.

"What do you want?" I heard sejal asking her.

Ssjal was on other hand running around the shop . She is bundle of joy, isn't she?

Sejal looked at me and said " - help me please "  I decided that was something I should do. I took hold of Rhea.

"Come on Rhea one toy, now don't run or you will fall and hurt yourself .

My eyes darted towards vansh who was scanning the surrounding.. If he is getting irritated with all this . He hasn't given us a clue about it.

"I want to play". Rhea said crossing her Arms over her chest .

"Rhea not today please " Her eyes  watered".

" I don't want  toy Mom",  she said running out of the store, vansh was quick on his feet and got after her.

I am such a bad mother . I want to give them the best she can have. But somehow I am losing it all.

"I am such a bad mother , sejal. I told her .

"No you are not bad mother. She is a child she doesn't understand what you are going through,". She told her.

I looked at the basketball . She wanted to have a try of team but she was so small i thought she was going to get hurt . So, I never let her truth is I was so afraid to admit that I was afraid of losing my only family.

Vansh come inside and I asked him .

"Did you find my daughter " ?

"Yes, miss Ridhima , she is inside the car and refusing to come inside , my men are with her currently ", I sighed and picked out the trading cards, limited edition ones that she wanted , and told the attented to gift wrap  them for me . He looked at me questioningly.

"She is into basketball", I was clarified and he nodded and walked out after . I paid for the same. I know she is not going to talked to  me for the rest of the day no matter what I say to her or do for her , she is not going to talk . She is stubborn when she wishes to be. Everyone stayed silent for the rest of the journey . My daughter was looking outside refusing to talk to me.

"Sejal , can you please take care of my daughter while I deal with clients  for today ,? I asked ..

"No problem ridhima . I will look after her ",.  Sejal walked towards her she didn't acknowledge her presencd. I know she thinks I am a bad mother . I want to spend time with Rhea . But j have to work to provide for her. I cannot let her look at me with those  accusation- filled eyes .

"I will be leaving and I will get few men around this place , call me before you leave ", VR informed me , he can do that because first we are not paying him for his services and second he has to work for living .

"Alright , I will call you if I need you", I told him.

"Sure miss", he walked towards the car Rhea attached herself to his leg.

"Vansh , why are you leaving ?" She asked . He touched down to his level and said "because little miss I have to work like you mom."

"But your work is to protect my mom ", he smiled at her again.

"For that, I have to make sure no one interrupts me so, I have to chase people away ,"

"Can I help you ? I am good at chasing people away ", I know the she will do anything to not stay with me . But if she leaves with him, he cannot be able to work properly , I don't want that.

"Now , Rhea, let VR do his work,. Now stay with Mommy and enjoy a day at the boutique. You love dressing up don't you baby"? I tried to get the situation under my control again .

"Can I come please ? She asked, vansh looked at me.

" I will take care of little miss here . Don't worry untill . I am here , she will not be harmed ", he said

Did he agree to take her with him!  Why ?"  I watched them as they  walked away ..

"Sejak , what I doing wrong to push my girl from me this way? " Sejak held my shoulder .

"You are not , there are some misunderstanding between you two. Everyone has those . It doesn't make you a bad parent , if it was that ,she wouldn't have called Mr.VR  and told her arrival."

I looked at her surprised ." Nor  she would have demanded that he give you his protection like that ." Sejal said .

"Hold on what ? , She called him?" I asked .

" He happened to give her his private  number for some reason. And she informed him about you arrival. It was not conicidence , how he was suddenly there , and that she knows his first name no one is allowed to call him.

"When did you find out " I asked .

"I checked her phone ", she informed me.

"Looks like she is planning something for you . Don't worry , just spend the weekend away from here , take her somewhere she can have fun, a fun trip for both of you . I will get it all ready . I promise and once you are there , you both can reconcile with each other ", I nodded

I have booked your tickets for your flights and your hotel", sejal said as I finished  for the day , I wonder how she is doing , I was about to call her when someone  approached me.
Someone I never wanted to see in my life ever again .

"Hello darling , long time no see", No, not him anyone but him . I looked towards the store and saw sejal,

"Call him.". I mouthed as he pulled me inside the car.
