Vansh pov ।
Vansh cannot believe how he let the slip happen he had failed once again। And that is something he doesn't like to happen vansh looked at the sleeping figure of Ridhima। How scared he was when he was unbale to see her in the room. He panicked and that wasn't something he wish to happen on his watch .but he will never let it happen again.
Once he had let it happen and he cannot not again not for anything .
He felt someone's hand over his shoulder and he looked back to see Ridhima.
"Ridhu, you shouldn't be awake at this time of the night. Why are you awake this hour .?"
"I could ask you the same , question , why are you awake at this hour or the night ?" Ridhima asked him
"Couldn't sleep, I have slots of things on my mind. There are things that I need to do and I have no idea how I can do them.. That's all there is nothing more .that's all.."
He said softly . He felt her hand leave and he pulled her hand towards him and in a moment ,she was standing is front of him
He placed his hand over her cheek and she closed his eyes .
"My sweet Ridhima, I want to protect you from everything . I want to keep you safe . Whar it will take for you understand this stupid little desire of mine ?" He asked her .
"Nothing , I understand this. I know this. Bht you cannot out yourself at risk for protecting me ..". He smiled at her innocent sentence .
He picked her up in his arms and walked towards his bed. Then he placed her over to his lips touched her forehead .
"Sleep please ,it is getting late miss Ridhima.."
She smiled softly at him.
"You are back miss again? I thought we were past that point where ; you call me miss and i call you VR ."
He stroked her head getting into bed next to her .
"Then what is it ?" That you call me ? Nowadays my sweet Ridhima ?" He asked
"Vansh , " she whispered his name forehead .
"Yes, your vansh , my sweet Ridhima . And I will protect you from everything . I will protect you from myself if I have to . I cannot make you understand how much you mean to me .."
She closed her eyes and he kept watch on her not for a moment , he had closed his eyes . Not for a moment , he averted his gaze from.her , for he had feared that once again he might lose at all. And he wasn't ready for that and that thought had kept him awake for the night.
He found himself still looking at her when the sun's ray hit her face . He wanted to sit there and watch her forever but the more he gets closer , the more he gets afraid of Having something . He can lose easily .it scares him now days .it scares him too.
It had been a while since he had felt this much scared . Since he had felt like he would die if something had been happened to someone . He stood up and walked towards his make gift gym..he needed to release all the anger that he is keeping inside ..
"Vansh "..
He heard a voice as he was protecting . He stopped and put the weapon down. Then he looked at Rhea who had came running inside his training room.
"Vansh , vansh is mommy wake up yet ?"
Vansh picked her up and said ." No, mommy is asleep , you should be too.." he said to Rhea.
"It is Saturday , you can sleep in "
"Will I have to see the bad man again ?"
She asked in a little spooked voice and he didn't know what was wrong with her .
