Once again, I'm sick so this isn't very good. But I hope you don't mind it!
"I'm guessing math isn't your favourite subject," Eddie said as they exited the classroom.
"Mm, it's like you're a mind reader. How'd you figure it out?"
They began walking toward Louella's locker.
"Well, you were doodling the whole lesson and I think you may have even fallen asleep at one point."
"I did not!" she laughed.
They stopped at her locker and as she opened it, a card fell out.
"Secret admirer?" he arched his eyebrow as she bent down to pick it up.
She opened it and found a piece of paper that read 'Bitch. We're glad he died'.
She started looking around the hallway packed with students, wondering who could've written such a thing.
Eddie snatched it out of her hand and read it. He crumpled it into a ball,
"You let me know if you get any more of these, okay?"
She ignored him, still searching. She noticed a group of nerds standing against a wall, watching her, snickering. No, it wasn't just a group of nerds, it was Eddie's friends. Gareth was in the middle, laughing more than the others.
Louella stormed over to him before grabbing onto the lapels of his jacket and slamming him against the wall. He hit his head, hard, causing him to groan.
"Did you write that? Tell me!" she demanded.
Gareth didn't answer. He merely looked at Eddie and rolled his eyes.
"Don't look at him! Answer me, goddamn it!"
"No" he spat.
Everyone had begun to crowd around them.
Eddie gripped one of Louella's hands. Her knuckles white from holding on to Gareth's jacket so tightly.
"Louella, let go of him," he said as he looked at the crowd of students.
She let go of Gareth and ripped her hand from his grip. Her striking eyes slid to him, and it was an effort to stand his ground.
"Did you have something to do with this?" Resentment and long-held pain laced every word.
"What? You know I would never-"
"Cut the bullshit speech, Munson. Yes, or no?"
"No."
She looked to Gareth for a second and then at the nosy students of Hawkins High. Then back to Eddie,
"You have shit friends."
She pushed past him, her shoulder bumping into him causing him to stumble back a little.
"Louella, wait-"
She heard him call out. She didn't look back as she stormed through the halls. She didn't stop before she reached the library. Taking a deep breath, she entered.
Sure, she wasn't very good at math but writing and reading had always been her passion. She walked past the table Billy and her would sit at when she convinced him to study. They never really did though, it just turned into a make-out session... or more.
Louella didn't really know why she came in here. She sure as hell didn't feel like reading at the moment. She realised because it was one of the only places in the school that was quiet. Where she could let all her thoughts and feeling dissolve into space and time.
As she sat at the back of the library, in a corner, she prayed that Eddie hadn't followed after her.
And this time, he hadn't.

"That was a dickhead thing to do," Eddie said to Gareth as they walked toward the front of the school.
"What? It was just a joke!"
"You didn't have to call her a bitch though!"
"So you are glad."
"What?"
"You're glad he's dead."
"I never said that!"
"Yeah, but you implied it"
Walking through the front door and out into the car park, Eddie sighed, shaking his head.
"What are we doing out here?" Gareth asked.
Eddie spotted the blue car. Good, she hadn't left yet.
"You're going to apologise to her."
His friend groaned,
"Fine. But how am I supposed to find her?"
He pointed at her car. It didn't take long for Gareth to catch on and they began walking towards the Chevy.

Hellfire had gone great, especially with the three new members: Mike, Dustin, and Lucas. They had seemed to really enjoy Eddie's campaign, which he liked of course. As they exited the school and into the summer evening, Eddie instantly spied the brown-haired female standing at the opened bonnet of her car, swearing, and kicking at it.
He looked to Gareth who had also noticed. He motioned his friend with a head movement to go over. He sighed but did.
Eddie leaned against a pillar as Gareth talked to Louella. She had noticed him standing there and had been staring at him the whole time his friend was apologising to her. When Gareth finished, she nodded, and that was his cue to leave.
She watched Eddie as he stood against the pillar for a moment. As his friends drove off, and when Mike, Dustin and Lucas had gotten on their bikes and ridden up the hill, he started making his way over to her. Even in the darkness, her hair shimmered, her face passive and cold.
"Why do I have an eerie feeling you're the reason why my car won't start?"
"Yeah, sorry, automobiles don't like me very much" he responded, scratching the back of his neck.
"Mm, and I don't like them very much," Louella grumbled, giving the car another kick.
"How about I drive you home?" he suggested as he walked over to his van and opened the passenger door.
"No, it's okay, the mechanic is on his way."
He started walking back towards her,
"Thomas? He used to work with my dad and trust me, he'll just bust your car up even more and make you sell a kidney to pay for it. Let me drive you home. It's late. I'll come in early tomorrow and try to fix it."
"No, really, it's okay-"
"Louella just get in the goddamn van, I'm not leaving you here." Eddie said as he took a step closer, "Don't make me throw you over my shoulder and carry you over there."
"...Fine..."
She closed the bonnet and locked her car before grabbing her bag from where it had been resting on the ground against a wheel. She walked over to his van and hopped in.
