The next few days went by pretty quickly, I was starting to develop a routine. I was still a loner but I had preferred it that way. Ever since I told off Xander on my first day he hasn't spoken a word to me, not that I care, I was happy for the silence.
It was lunchtime and I was sitting by myself as usual, Mikayla and Brandon had practice so I sat with my headphones in while I ate, I look up feeling a presence next to me and I internally groan as I take a headphone out of my ear.
" what do you want?" I ask
He stared at me for a moment gathering his thoughts " I.... Uh.... I just wanted to say I'm sorry.... You know ... for the other day"
I paused my music all together pulling out the other headphone to hear him better "is that right?"
"Yea I shouldn't have assumed anything since I don't even know you" he says and I raise my eyebrow
"Uh.... Thank you.... I guess" I say not really knowing how to respond " is there anything else?"
" why got something better to do?" He asks raising and eyebrow
" probably" I say and he smirks
"So what were you listening to?"
"I was listening to Antarctica by the $uicideboy$" I say
" I don't know who that is" he says making me laugh
"I bet" I say smiling I say handing him one of the earphones

"I guess" I shrug, I felt someone's eyes on me and it made me look up and I see Isabel scowling in our direction and that made me smile
" what's with the smile?" He asks
" it's funny watching your girlfriend over there get all hot and bothered because your talking to me" he looks confused before he looks over and sees her staring watching our interaction intensely
He rolls his eyes " she's not my girlfriend"
" oh yea does she know that" I ask
He shrugs " yea but she's persistent"
" well this has been fun and everything but ima head out" I say getting up and taking my empty tray to the trash can, when I turn around to walk out I run into him "what do you want?"
"I just wanna get to know you" he says
This make me laugh " and why's that"
" I don't know you just seem like an interesting person"
" look ima be honest you seem like a self absorbed dick, but I really don't think I'm your cup of tea"
"Why?" He asks shocked
" because just because you like the idea of me, doesn't mean that you'll actually like who I am" I say walking off leaving him standing there.
As soon as I'm in the hallway my phone starts ringing, I look at the caller ID and see

I quickly pick up putting all the right information in First thing I hear "sup bitch" I smile
" sup fag, how's incarceration little brother" I say smiling
" bullshit bro, but hey my lawyer just came to talk to me they're letting me out next week"
I screamed into the phone getting the attention of the students near by "your lying" I say smiling
" I put that on my best pair of socks" he says laughing
" what the fuck" I say laughing "that's so specific" That makes him laugh harder
"What are you doing sissy poo" that makes me smile
"Im being forced to go to school"
" that's all bad, aunt Rosie said I'd be going to the same school what's it like?" He asks
" let's just say my first day I'm sure everyone was low key kinda scared" I say as he laughs
" it cuz your intimidating bro"
I laugh "i am not"
"Yes you are" he says as I roll my eyes even though he can't see me " but hey I gotta go eat so I'll call you later alright"
"Alright I love you little brother stay safe in there" I say
" I will , I love you too sissy poo" I smile as the call ends.
I walk into the bathroom before class starts, as I'm finishing I flush the toilet and open the stall door and I see Isabel standing there with 2 other girls and I sigh "what do you want Barbie?"
"Stay away from Alex" she says
"Who?" I say confused
"Alexander Mikaelson" she says and I laugh " what's so funny?" She asks getting frustrated
"You, shouldn't you be telling him this your talking to me like I actually care" I say with a bored expression
" I'm warning you freak" hearing that made my blood boil
"And what will you do princess" I say staring her down
" I'll make your life a living hell here" she say's confidently
I nod " not as much as I can make yours a living hell" I smile " I promise I know how to do it better"
" don't push me you don't know how far I can go to get what I want" she says
" and clearly you don't know that I can easily paint these walls with your bloody face and before I hear anything else, no Barbie I'm not afraid to go back to jail ,so keep on playing with fire and I promise I'll burn you" I say as I push past her and her friends and walk out of the bathroom.
I walk into world history and see Xander already sitting in the seat beside mine, I silently sit next to him with my headphones playing music, I take out my notebook and pen and I notice him looking at me again.
" what's up?" I ask
He shakes his head casually " whatcha listening to now?" I hand him one of the earphones as Dear God by DAX continues to play

I'm supposed to fear you but you ain't said shit
So maybe it's you who actually fears me?
I don't know the answer I just want to see it clearly

" wow that's deep" he says and I nod "hey I wanted to ask since you clearly know a lot about this subject, would you mind helping me understand it better?"
I look at him confused " uh.... Sure why not"
