The boys went back to their own houses after getting lunch yesterday, Vance was laying down on his bed staring at his ceiling. He was dreading for school to start, he would have to suffer 5 classes with an empty fucking seat, knowing damn well whos seat it belongs to, and that she won't be coming in late, she won't be arriving at all. Vance rolled over and about 30 minutes passed of doing nothing before the phone rang, Vance ignored it. It was probably Robin trying to get his mind off of Y/n again, but Vance was drained. The past 24 hours had completely depleted him of energy, plus the lack of sleep didn't help. The phone stopped ringing for 5 seconds, then started ringing again. "Jesus fucking Christ." Vance grudgingly rolled out of bed and to the phone, he answered, "What the fuck do you want?" Robin was frantically speaking on the other line, he was speaking so fast he kept cutting out. "Slow the hell down, what?" Robin took a deep breath. "Finn called me, his sister had a dream and she found out where Y/n is being held by the grabber." Vance rolled his eyes, "Real funny, jackass. No one has dreams about that stuff and it ends up being real." He could practically feel the eye roll. "Shut the hell up and get your ass to my house. Now." Robin hung up and Vance sighed loudly. What a waste of time this was gonna be.
He pulled on blue jeans, a tank top, and a black denim jacket that he had cut the sleeves off on. He made his way down to Robins house and knocked on the door, Finn opened it. "He's here. Let's go!" Finn rushed out of the door, a little girl and Robin followed him out. Robin shut the door and turned to Vance. "We're going to the police station." Vance rolled his eyes and followed them to the police station.
"The pigs are laughing in our faces. They're actually fucking laughing." Vance said, obviously pissed. The little girl, who Vance discovered was the little sister of Finn aka Gwen, rolled her eyes and sighed. "Can we see Detective Wright??" The cops laughing died down slowly and one of them went into the back. Vance was leaning against the wall near the entrance picking at this bracelets. When the cop came back, Detective Wright came with him. "A dream, you say?" Gwen started ranting to the detective about how she knew where Y/n was because of the dream, she went on a whole segment about her mother and then how her dreams have been true in the past. The detective heard her out but that was the end of it, "Just, call this card number if you see any of those missing kids okay?" Gwen stomped her foot. "You dumb fucking fart knockers don't know jack shit!" Finn was surprised by his sisters words, "Woah Gwenny-" Gwen looked at him angrily then back at the detective. "When Y/n ends up dead because it was to late, it's your fault, Detective." She spat out the word detective and he almost seemed offended. Vance smirked, Gwen had some fire to her and it was hilarious. But her words were replaying in his head, "When Y/n ends up dead." Vance grabbed Robin by the arm and pulled him out of the police station, Gwen still arguing with the detective and Finn helping.
"These worthless motherfuckers aren't gonna do jack shit about this. We should just go to the house ourselves." Robin's jaw hung open for a moment then he laughed, "Are you a fucking idiot? This grabber dude has kidnapped 3 kids, successfully. He's obviously not that stupid, you really think we are gonna be able to get into this dudes house and what? Save Y/n heroically?" Vance sighed through his nose, "You're right. You guys wouldn't be able to do it, but I can. And, I am going to now, purely because you said I wouldn't be able to. And, 'cause I'm not waiting around for another kid to go missing, and Y/n to be found dead when eventually this dick wad does get caught." Vance started walking off and Robin called after him, when he didn't stop walking away Robin admitted defeat. "FINE. If you go alone it'll be worse, let me just grab Gwen and Finn." Vance turned around with a shit eating grin, he won.
