Luke's POV
"Emerald is in the hospital for unknown causes." The sentence all around the 5sos news.
I can't believe she put herself in a hospital. She knew that the police would question me if she did, and yet she still put my life in danger.
I needed to see her.
I mean how bad could I have hurt her anyway?

Michael's POV
"Emerald, what happened to you? I was here to see my grandmother and I immediately recognized you."
She tried to smile but started to cry, "Please don't hurt me Michael."
"I'm not going to hurt you."
"That's what they all say." I sat next to her.
"Listen. I used to hate Luke and he would punch and hurt me too. That's just his way of getting his anger out. Then he's calm, am I right?" She nodded.
She sat next to me uncomfortably. "Yeah, I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry too." Luke's hurt her before, but she was bleeding everywhere. Through every bandage they applied. And Calum, who is just as strong as Luke hurt her too. He told me that Luke was too drunk to notice him and he obviously took advantage of the situation.
She looked at me, "Michael, I'm so so sorry or taking that video. I didn't post it but you probably don't believe me."
"I believe you."
"Why?"
"If I were to hand you a gun, would you shoot Luke?" she shook her head, "Exactly, you're not the type to take revenge."
Next to her lied sharp glass shards covered in blood, was Luke trying to kill her?
She wiped her tears and smiled, but she was still too afraid to trust me.

Emerald's POV
Michael is just like Calum, pretty face, ugly heart.
I repeated the phrase inside my brain until Ashton walked in with purple tulips, my favorite.
He frowned, "Why are you crying?"
"Nevermind that, thank you or coming." I pulled him in for a hug.
"Oh Ashton this is Michael and Michael this is Ashton, my childhood friend." They shook hands tensely.

Ashton's POV
Emerald always talked so bad about Michael but now he was in her hospital room.
She explained what happened, tears falling down her cheeks. Michael wiped them from her face before I could even think about it.
"If you say you didn't do it, I'm betting you didn't. Once you're free, we'll find out whoever did this to you." I ran my hand across her cheek.
I soon realized that Luke and Calum probably slapped her there too many times and removed my hand.
