Jimin can feel Taehyung staring at him from across the table they're sharing at the library. It's seriously some black magic fuckery that Jimin didn't have a hangover this morning when he woke up and that Tae forgave him for yelling at him like that. So many mistakes were made last night. Like looking at those texts.
"What?" Jimin finally looks up at his best friend, angrily whispering.
Tae doesn't speak though. He just slides something towards Jimin. Squinting his eyes to get a better look, Jimin looks at the two small slips of paper.
"Tickets?" Jimin asks. "To--" He cuts himself off. He looks up at Tae. "No."
"Come on." Tae sighs loudly. A few people shush him and he apologizes quietly. "Come on." He repeats himself.
"Those are tickets to Jungkook's concert." Jimin says. "Why are you even showing those to me? You know I don't want anything to do with him." Jimin looks back down at his textbook.
"You're right, these are tickets to Jungkook's concert. I bought them with my own money. They're literally the worst seats in the place. All I want is for you to come with me. They're nosebleeds. He won't even know we're there." Tae tries to convince Jimin.
"It doesn't matter." Jimin shakes his head.
"Please. Jimin, please. I've never been able to go to one of his concerts before because I'm a poor boy and nobody loves me, but I finally saved up enough and I want you, my bestest friend in the world, to go with me." Tae juts his lip out cutely.
"Tae..." Jimin begins.
"Like I said, they're nosebleeds so he won't even know we're there. Please? I just want to enjoy his music." Tae whines.
Jimin sighs. He runs a hand through his hair, annoyed. "If I say yes, never try to force me into doing anything with you again, got it?" Jimin warns. Tae smiles brightly.
Honestly, Jimin was hoping that Tae would keep on trying to persuade him. If Tae's good for anything, it's his persistence. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Jimin wants to see Jungkook again. Even if it's from the nosebleeds at the back of his concert and he can only see his face from a screen.
"You're the best. You won't regret it." Tae smiles.
Jimin sits back in his seat, watching as Tae gets up to go brag to Hobi that he finally got Jimin to say year to the concert.
He can't help but play it every scenario possible in his mind. What if he runs into Jungkook? What will he say? What if there's some sort of spontaneous fan-thing and Jimin gets pulled up on stage? What if Jungkook doesn't even realize that Jimin is there at all? That's actually more scariest scenario in Jimin's mind. He knows it doesn't make sense since he's adamantly said he doesn't care and doesn't want to see Jungkook, but it's complicated.
In reality, Jimin just doesn't want to admit that he misses Jungkook too. He's such a coward.

Jungkook feels himself being nudged awake. His eyes open and he looks over to see Jin. He's currently waiting to perform at yet another show, and has only a few minutes to rest.
"What?" Jungkook asks.
"Tae texted you." Jin says. Jungkook suddenly sits up. He grabs his phone from his managers hands.
[3:18PM]
From: TaehyungJimin said he'd come.
A weird sort of excitement courses through Jungkook's veins. He'll admit that he kind of plotted something with Taehyung late last night after he sent that I love you text to Jimin.
He had called the older male and, against his better judgement, asked him to convince Jimin to coke to his concert next week. He even express shipped those crappy tickets to Taehyung.
"It'll seem more authentic." Jungkook recalls telling Tae. If he had sent amazing front row tickets to him, Jimin definitely wouldn't have said yes. These seats are the worst of the worst in the very back of the stadium where nobody can see them. In exchange for these crappy seats, Jungkook promised Tae that he would eventually send him better ones when the concert he wanted to attend came around. Now that Jimin has said yes to the offer, Jungkook is even more eager to fulfill Tae's every wish.
[3:18PM]
To: TaehyungSeriously? He said yes? You're not messing with me, are you?
[3:18PM]
From: TaehyungThis is 100% real. Surprisingly it didn't take much to make him say yes. All I had to say is that you wouldn't even know he was there. Something tells me he wanted to see you anyway.
Jungkook stares at the message. He hopes that Jimin wants to see him, because he wants to see Jimin.
This past week has been driving him crazy. He doesn't understand why Jimin has been ignoring him, and nobody has any answers. Tae doesn't know, Hobi doesn't know.
Yoongi doesn't know either. Jungkook harassed him the most. He may or may not have lightweight threatened Yoongi to stay away from Jimin or else. Either way, it worked. Yoongi sent him the screenshots between him and Jimin from last night. They made Jungkook angry and upset, but he realized that that must mean Jimin's having a hard time. Just like him.
"What's going on?" Jin asks.
"Jimin said he'd come to the concert." Jungkook looks up at his manager.
"Jimin? He seriously said that?"
"Yeah. Tae convinced him. Jungkook nods.
"What'll you do? If you try to see him, I don't think it'll end well."
"I'm not gonna try to see him." Jungkook starts. "I have something else planned for him.
"Hmm? You have something planned for your concert that I don't know about?" Jin raises an eyebrow. "What is it?"
"It's a song."
