2023Tony Stark POV:
"Guys that's an idea. It's purely theoretical." Natasha looked at me. "That means you've thought about it before." All three looked at me hopefully. I sigh briefly. "Yes, I've toyed with the idea before. But it's dangerous and takes time and..." I stopped quickly before I said anything wrong.
Steve raised his eyebrow. "And?" he asked again. "It's not my area of expertise, which makes it even more dangerous." Now he sighed too. "But you know someone who does, don't you?" I looked at him again, hurt. "I know someone she just won't be happy to see us." With that I turned to the door. "Just go to the car, I'll follow you."
Inside, Pepper was making lunch. Morgan sat in a chair and watched her mother. "Will you go with them?" She looked at me as I stood next to her. "Not directly, I'll take them to Isabella. She must be more familiar with what they're up to." She put the knife down. "Tony, you can't do that. you promised her." "I know but there's no other way. Unless you want to explain to her that because I didn't bring the three of them to her, they blew themselves up or whatever." She looked at me worried and put a hand on my chest.
"If you come home with a black eye, don't cool it." "sounds fair." With that I gave her a kiss on the cheek and grabbed Morgan for a moment. "I'm going out with some friends for a minute. Before you go to bed, that's me again." She nodded. Then I put her down and went outside. The others waited in the car. I quickly got in and we drove off.
House of Isabella
Sophie P.O.V.:
I went out to get Laélia for lunch. She was outside in a small tent. "Laélia. Laélia, there's food, are you coming?" I took one of the small chairs and sat down with it in front of the tent. she came out In her hands she held earth and in it was a small flower, which opened and closed its blossom constantly. She grinned at me. I smiled slightly. "Lia, you shouldn't use your powers. Even if that's a good thing."
she grinned. Then she put the flower on the ground and touched the earth next to it. The plant planted itself. I got up and took her in my arms. As we walked to the house, I asked her, "What do you think Mom and Lydia are making for dinner? Grilled grasshoppers with toad legs and spider blood?" She made a face. "Uhh, no! I won't eat that."
I saw a car pull up. Out of it climbed Captain America for I recognized from a photo, a strange man, Uncle Tony and my mother Natasha Romanoff. Laelia looked at her. "Who's all that at Uncle Tony's?" she whispered in my ear. "Just old friends of Mom's," I whispered back.
I nodded to Uncle Tony. He stood behind Natasha. To my amazement, they both nodded back at me. I went in with Laélia in my arms.
Isabella POV:
Sophie came in with Laélia on her arm. She put them down. "Mom, Uncle Tony is here and he brought someone with him." I looked at her and froze at the end of the sentence. "oke umm. Please stir the nudes, I'll see what he wants." She nodded and I walked out. Tony and the others were standing on the porch. He smiled at me. With him were Steve, Scott Lang and Natasha. She looked around here.
"Hey Tony." He smiled even wider and took me in his arms briefly and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Natasha looked at me. I glanced at her for a moment, then avoided her gaze. "So what is it that you show up here with company?" Steve answered. "We think there's a way to bring everyone back." I just shook my head. "You didn't need to come here for that." I turned back to the door to go in but Tony stopped me.
"Come on Isa. You have the plans and if we try it together we might get it done." I sighed briefly. "Okay, but let's talk about it after dinner. There's spaghetti. 'Cause except for Tony, you all look like you haven't eaten for hours or days." "We definitely don't want to eat away anything that isn't intended for us." Steve charming as always.
"No no. There's plenty I cook as well as always too much." He nodded. "Also, don't leave if you haven't eaten their spaghetti. They're the best." Tony grinned. I shook my head. "I'll tell Pepper." He looked at me, startled. "He's right. They're the best," Natasha said, looking up from the floor. For a moment I could see a smile on her lips.
"Well then." Said Steve and I led the four in. Sophie stood at the stove and stirred the pot. Laélia was sitting in a corner playing with Lego. Lydia was sitting on the sofa leafing through a book.
Tony beamed and first approached Sophie, he kissed her on the head and then turned to the twins. Laélia was the first to notice him. "Uncle Tones!" She ran towards him. Lydia looked up and ran after her sister. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Natasha's eyes widen as she saw all three children. I couldn't help but smile slightly.
I went to Sophie and put my hand on her shoulder. "Will you set the table. Uncle Tony and the others are eating with us." She nodded. Steve looked around in astonishment. He faced me and smiled at me. "You're comfortable here. The two girls, I assume they're twins, are they?" I looked at him. "Adopted?" He nodded. "No, it's..." I glanced at Natasha.
He followed my gaze. He sighed briefly. Tony had Laélia on his lap, Lydia was talking to Scott and Natasha was leaning against the wall. She looked around the room and our eyes met. She smiled slightly, but I looked back at Steve.
"Does she know?" he asked. I shook my head. "No, she doesn't know. It's supposed to stay that way for now. Just because I let her in doesn't mean everything is forgiven and forgotten." He raised an eyebrow.
I just kept stirring the pots. "Done," Sophie said. "Good" I turned to the others. I whistled briefly to get the twins' attention. They raised their heads and looked at me. "There's food, so wash your hands. Sophie at the sink. Without strength!" I looked at her and caught her rolling her eyes.
"Sophie! Videl som to presne! Oči nie sú prevrátené!" I scolded her from Sokovian.
("I saw it clearly! Eyes don't roll!") I took Slovak for Sokovian because I think it's the most similar.
She nodded and followed her sisters. All eyes were on me. Tony was the first to speak again. "Well, let's sit down. Because if we don't sit down before the kids come back, everything will be gone." I quickly put the pots on the table.
I sat at the head of the table with the twins sitting to my left and right. Next to Lydia sat Sophie. Scott sat down next to her and Steve across from him. Tony sat down between Laélia and Steve. Natasha sat down across from me.
It was quiet at the dining table and hardly anyone said a word, only the twins talked to each other and Sophie said something every now and then. Lydia leaned towards me: "Mom, why is the woman staring at me, Sophia and Laélia like that." Only now did I notice that Natasha hardly ate anything but looked at Sophie or the twins the whole time. "She just doesn't know you. It's fine." Lydia smiled slightly and nodded.
After some time, Natasha spoke up. "I am sorry." Everyone fell silent, even the twins didn't make a sound. Natasha kept glancing back and forth between her food and me. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..."
