Lies

[Dazai's POV]

I sat across from a lovely woman. Long red hair and glowing green eyes. Even though she was wearing gloves, I could tell her hands were trembling.

This was a woman who lied to me.

She loves me, and I love her too;

But who exactly am I in love with?

"You must keep this a secret," she said. "You must."

"Why... [y/n]?"

"Don't call me that!" she stood up, shaking.

People around us turned to look.

Ah... all eyes are on us now

She seemed to notice she had caused quite a commotion and sat back down, quietly.

"I prefer it if you don't mention my past," she spoke, bitterly. "I don't even care if it's one of your jokes or games... just.. don't."

"I love you, Kagura," I said, as she blushed in embarrassment, "that's why I'm curious about your past-"

"But I don't want you to learn about my stupid past!"

My eyes widened.

She retreated back, bewildered by her own tone. 

She hesitated, before meeting my eyes again. "It's something I don't want to remember, so please..."

I was confused; Why was she was looking at me so... coldly?

A sorrowful feeling overcame me.

You love me...

You said you loved me

So why are you looking at me like that?

Were you lying again?

Was it not true?

You were lying again weren't you?

[Your POV]

I messed up. I raised my voice again and now it looks like I hurt him.

I didn't mean to hurt him

He seems hurt, what should I do?

I never wanted this in the first place! Why did I have to get drunk and...

I should apologize

"I-I" I started, "I'm sorry. I didn't want to shout at you, it's just..."

"Kagura, do you love me?"

"Of course I do, I just-"

"Then why are you looking at me like that?"

"What?"

"You're looking at me like I'm disgusting."

What was he talking about?

"What? Why would I-"

"You're always so cold to me."

"Why would I be cold to you?"

Was I really cold?

This was my fault wasn't it?

"I'm sorry," I apologized. "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to be cold to you, I really didn't mean it."

"It's okay," he smiled. "Even if you're cold to me, I'll still love you."

"But-"

"I'll always love you. No matter what."

I'm probably going to publish like 2 chapters today or tomorrow

But it's getting really hard to keep publishing because of how much I hate this story.
