Izuku and I met All Might at the beach.
"Why is your brother here?" he asked Izuku.
"Because my big brother is a careless bean who spilled all your secrets to me," I muttered. All Might blanched, and I sighed. "Don't worry. I don't have anyone to spill your world-ending secret to."
"I appreciate the thought, young Midoriya. Oh boy, this is going to get confusing. Is there anything you two would like to be called instead?"
"People call me Midori instead," I sighed. "Just get your training done. I'll do my own training off to the side."
I walked away from my older brother and his idol and started to drain the heat from the piles of trash on the beach. I heard my brother cry out in pain and I instantly whipped my head around to see what had happened.
All Might was sitting on top of a refrigerator, and Izuku had been trying to pull it. I rolled my eyes. I'd told him he needed to work out more. At least now he'll have a chance to.
For all ten months before the entrance exam, Izuku trained with All Might every day of the week. The morning of the exam, he burst into my room.
"Ike-kun, let's go!"
I groaned and checked my clock. "Nii-san, it's one in the morning. Why are you so urgent?"
"It's my last chance to fully clear the beach, come on!" he whined, shaking me to make me get up.
If I didn't know any better, I could've sworn I was supposed to be the younger one. Why is he the one that acts like a small child?
"Ugh, didn't you only have to clean that one stretch?"
"I wanna clear the whole thing. How else am I gonna be sure I'm ready for One for All?"
"Fine, fine," I grumbled as I rolled out of bed and put on a T-shirt and shorts. "Let's go. Don't wake Mom."
"I know," Izuku whispered. He looked me up and down. "Wow, you're looking good. When are you gonna get a significant other?"
"Shut up, Nii-san. Let's go already."
We snuck out of the house and towards Takoba Municipal Beach. Izuku started hauling the junk on the beach, and I pitched in with a little help. By the time the sun rose, we'd gathered all the garbage into one big pile.
Izuku was so happy that he climbed on top of the pile and started screaming with joy. I wanted to set my face on fire out of embarrassment. All Might came and pulled Izuku off to one side, probably to give him his quirk.
Then we were off to the UA Entrance Exam. "Any idea how to use your quirk?" I whispered.
Izuku just shook his head nervously, and I sighed. Of course he didn't; he just got it. Why had I even asked? I hoped he could get in.
I walked slightly ahead of Izuku, but then my brotherly senses started tingling. I glanced back at Izuku to find him floating just above the ground.
"Are you ok?" I heard a girl ask him. I looked over and saw a girl with brown hair with matching eyes. "It's my quirk. Sorry for stopping you, but it'll be bad to fall."
Izuku was trying to say something, but he couldn't thanks to his social anxiety. "Thanks," I said for him. She glanced over at me. Her face turned a little red. Seriously? Now?
"No problem! This sure is nerve-racking," she said nervously. I nodded. "Well good luck!" she yelled, waving a little as she ran for the building. That was a bit weird.
I glanced back to Izuku and saw that his face was bright red. I just sighed and started walking inside after he'd recovered. I grabbed my card and went to sit down. Izuku sat down on my left, and Bakugo on my right. I felt like I was sandwiched between a bomb and its target. Probably true, to be honest.
I saw the lights dim and watched Present Mic walk on stage. Sheesh, how much hair gel did he use to do his hair? It goes higher than the average weed smoker.
I tuned out his explanation of the test. I got the basic point of it: beat up robots and don't hurt people. At one point in the presentation, a navy haired boy stood up and yelled at Izuku.
"You with the unkempt green hair. You've been muttering this whole time. Stop that. You're distrac-"
"You shut up!" I snarled, jumping up from my seat. "He can't help it; he just needs to think out loud to understand things better. Maybe you shouldn't judge people before they-" I was cut off by Izuku putting his hand on my forearm. I scowled and sat back down.
Present Mic continued the rest of the explanation, and soon the lights turned back on. It was about time. I walked to my area, which was Battle Center C. I felt anxious. What if Izuku got hurt and I wasn't there to help him?
After a few minutes of waiting, I heard a Mic yell "Begin!!!" Everyone was confused. Was there supposed to be more instruction? "What's wrong, the test has already started!! Run!! Run!!" I started running along with everyone else. I absorbed as much heat I could from the air and a small fire started to form around my arms. I saw some three pointers ahead. I transferred the heat stored in my body to the ground below the robots and started a fire under all of them, destroying them due to the excessive heat and flames.
I started running and I saw around 20 robots. I took all the heat around them, causing them to freeze and break apart. All around me people were fighting and destroying robots with their own quirks.
Suddenly the ground began to rumble and something began to rise up out of the ground.
"What is that?!" "Is that the zero pointer?!" "Are people actually going to die today?!" I heard several people yell. The examinees began to stampede away from it and I turned to try and get away as well.
I heard a girl scream. I turned and saw that the zero pointer was about to run over her. I saw a black haired boy with a scar on his eye standing nearby quickly run over and scoop her up. He tried to run, but he was clearly struggling to carry the girl at the same time.
He looked around in a hurry and noticed me. Of course he did; I was the only one still standing where I had been when the zero pointer had appeared. "Help me out, man! This thing's gonna kill me!" he gasped as he kept trying to run.
I heard screaming, but I ignored those cowards. I took all the heat from the zero pointer, which caused it to freeze. I used all the heat from around me and from the zero pointer to cause a massive fire to surround it, incinerating it. I felt ash fall on me. I looked up to see that it was now raining ash.
That must have taken a lot of fire power. Which meant...
I doubled over, coughing up blood as I did so. The black haired boy with the scarred eye from earlier ran over. "Dude are you okay? I saw you stop that robot; that was so manly! Oh man, you're coughing up blood. That can't be good."
No duh. I saw an elderly lady walk out towards us. "Is everyone ok? Does anyone need gummies?" she asked.
I felt the boy grab my arm and yank me towards her. "Can you check on him?" he asked.
She nodded and kissed me on the head. "What?" I grumbled. I heard the black haired boy laugh. "Shut up," I growled.
"Dude..Y-your face," he said between giggles.
"Whatever," I muttered as I left the battle centre. I didn't have time for this; I needed to check on Izuku.

Ikemoto displays a massive show of power in taking down the zero pointer. Of course, he doesn't really care that he did as long as Izuku is okay, right?
