I hit the ground and suddenly felt heat surrounding me. I groaned as I rubbed part of my back that I'd landed on as I stood up and glanced around me and saw fire. The conflagration zone? I glanced around, wondering if I was the only one. More importantly, where was Izuku?
I watched as villains started to surround me. I saw one of them get hit by a muscular tail. "Ojiro?" I said out of shock.
He glanced over. "Midori! You're here too!"
"I guess, we got sent to the sam-"
"WATCH OUT!" the tail boy yelled. I turned around and saw a villain about to hit me. I quickly stole all of his body heat, and watched as his body became encased in a thin sheet of ice, bar his face. "Nice move," Ojiro commented.
"Thanks," I said. I marched up to the villain, who was standing there, frozen. I glanced at Ojiro and he nodded, understanding what I wanted to do. "I'll give you one minute to explain your plan or I'll return all your body heat to you in one foul swoop, along with all the heat in this place, burning you in a painful blaze. Time's ticking, villain," I growled.
He looked terrified, and blurted, "We want to kill All Might!"
"Thanks for stating the obvious, moron," I sighed and rolled my eyes "How were you planning to do that?"
"A nomu is going to be used against him, please let me go!" he wailed. I glanced back at Ojiro, but he just shrugged. Neither of us knew what a nomu was.
"What's a nomu?"
"I-I dunno. It's a monster that's s-strong enough to go t-toe to toe with All Might," he stuttered, eyes darting around nervously.
I started to walk away. "Something doesn't make sense here," I muttered to Ojiro who was following me. "If they've come up with a way to kill All Might, they're clearly well thought out, right?"
"Well yeah," Ojiro agreed. "What're you thinking?"
"Why would they send me to the conflagration zone then? At face value, my quirk relies on heat, so why not send me to any of the other zones? It doesn't add up."
"The only logical explanation is that they don't know our quirks," Ojiro concluded.
"We need to find pros," I said and he nodded.
"How are we going to get out?" he asked, wondering the same thing I was. The conflagration zone was in an enclosed tungsten dome, which made it difficult to escape.
I glanced around, trying to find the tallest building. "Follow me," I ordered. I started running towards the building, Ojiro swinging after me using his tail. "We can try finding the exit from here, this building is taller than the dome's walls," I explained. We started running up the stairs together, punching or burning villains as we did.
We made it to the roof, and I went to the edge and glanced over the walls. "Looks like we're going that way," I said, looking at the giant gate. I felt something hit the building, and I glanced down and saw the villains trying to knock down the building. I felt my eyes widen. "Ojiro, we've gotta go now."
He looked confused so I grabbed him and started running. I felt the building about to fall. Ojiro jumped and wrapped his tail around a metal bar, his hand clutching my forearm to keep me from falling. He swung sideways and hopped into the window of the other building.
We fell into the other building and groaned in pain. I felt lightheaded due to quirk over usage, and I was lying on the ground, seeing double. Now was not the time to lose consciousness. I had to get out of here and find Izuku.
"Midori, are you okay?!" Ojiro yelled. I turned my head and saw Ojiro running towards me.
I nodded. "All good, buddy."
"You don't look it," he said, not believing me. I saw a villain about to hit Ojiro, I grabbed him, activated my quirk and surrounded the villain with fire.
"We gotta go; I've overused my quirk," I groaned. I saw his eyes widen at the realisation that I was on the brink of passing out. I tried to stand back up, but I just felt my body flop back down to the ground. "Sorry Ojiro," I muttered. "Find... Izuku."
I blacked out.

"So they're gonna kill All Might, huh? I'd like to see them try," I grumbled to Hagakure, who was in the landside zone with me.
Suddenly, the entrance to the USJ burst open, revealing All Might. "I am here," he said gravely, no sign of a smile on his face. He made quick work of the side villains before being blocked from our line of sight by a very well-muscled humanoid bird.
I ran from the landslide zone towards the central plaza with Hagakure right behind me. "Get to the others. I'm going to help the pros in case that nomu really is capable of killing All Might," I said.
Hagakure ran off, and I reached All Might just as he was screaming in pain as the nomu squeezed his left rib cage. I quickly used my right side and froze the nomu, allowing All Might to escape its grasp.
"There. Now he won't be able to move," I said, activating my left side to make sure I didn't get frostbite. I looked around and saw Bakugo keeping the warp gate trapped, and Midoriya watching nearby. "Get out of here!" I yelled at them.
"Don't tell me what to do, IcyHot!"
Kirishima charged in and tried to attack a villain covered in hands; the redhead had very poor technique, and the villain dodged easily.
"The Symbol of Peace will not be defeated by delinquents like you."
"How do you propose you defeat Nomu then, ice boy?" the villain rasped. The nomu broke free of the ice, destroying half of his body in the process. Everyone's eyes widened in shock as it started growing back at an impossible speed.
I frowned. I'd already noticed that the nomu could withstand All Might's hits, meaning it either had shock absorption or shock nullification. On top of that, he had some form of super regeneration. Brute force like punches would only be countered by his shock absorption/nullification. The only way I could hurt him was by cutting out his flesh, but he'd just grow it back instantly. What would Father do in this situation?
If he doesn't have a brain, his nervous system will be destroyed, and he won't be able to regenerate.
I shot out a stream of flames at the nomu, engulfing its head in fire. The nomu shrieked in pain, but it wasn't enough. Most of the heat was dissipating before it hit the nomu, due to the distance between us.
I paused my flames momentarily and ran up to the nomu as fast as I could and jumped up so that I was perched on its back. Then I summoned all the heat within my body and slammed my hand down onto its exposed brain.
The brain disintegrated, and the nomu stopped moving. "That's it. I win."
"Cheater! That nomu was supposed to be for All Might, not you!" the villain raged. "That's it, I'm leaving, but next time we meet, I'll kill you. Kurogiri, let's get out of here."
The warp gate escaped Bakugo's grip and the two of them disappeared into a portal.
We had won. For now, at least.
