The next day everyone woke up to the rising sun. Alberto and Amber cuddled together at night while the rest of the group slept on Bucky. Jake woke up and rose from his slumber when he saw a ship or what looked like a floating palace in the distance. Jake realized who it was and rushed down to wake up Sofia and James. "Wake up guys! Your parents are here!" Jake called out to James and Sofia. Amber woke up to the sound of her father and stepmom calling out to the group. "Daddy!" Amber said, jumping on the bed. Alberto woke up to Amber's jump. "Amber, what's going on?" Alberto asked. Amber grabbed his arm. "Come on Alberto! I want you to meet them!" Amber said. "Meet who?" Alberto asked. Amber and Alberto stopped in front of the door and Massimo stood in front with Machiavelli on his shoulder. "You have visitors," Massimo told Amber. Massimo opened the door and Amber saw her friends with her family. "Amber! We finally found you!" Queen Miranda said giving her stepdaughter a hug. "We're so happy you're okay," King Rowland told her. "Thank you for looking after our family," King Rowland told Massimo. "My pleasure," Massimo smiled. Amber saw Alberto hiding behind Massimo. Amber cleared her throat. "Mother, Daddy, I want you to meet someone," Amber said, motioning Alberto to come forward. Alberto walked over shyly and Amber held his hand. "This is Alberto, my boyfriend," Amber smiled. Roland and Miranda were shocked at this. "He saved my life," Amber told them. Alberto smiled sheepishly. "Alberto is so cool!" James said. "He's a true hero," Jake. Miranda walked up to Alberto and gave him a hug. "Thank you," Miranda said as Alberto returned the favor. Santiago's family walked up to Alberto. "You seem fishy," said Santiago's mom said. Alberto gulped nervously. "Actually mama, Alberto is a sea monster," Santiago told his mother. "How do we know if he can be trusted?" King Rowland asked. "Your majesties, he may look different," Jake started saying. "But he's the nicest sea monster you'll ever meet," Amber smiled to her boyfriend. "We respect all sea life here in the Tooniverse," Santiago's grandpa said. "Even Santiago and Jake's friends are sea folk or mermaids," Sofia said. King Rowland understood. "Your majesties, it's time to go," Baileywick told them. "Don't worry Dad, Jake will take us on Bucky," James told his dad. King Rowland nodded as he and Miranda got on the floating palace. Santiago's mom and grandpa headed out on their ship. Everyone thanked Alberto and Massimo for the kind hospitality. "Come on Amber, let's go," Sofia said. Amber was hesitant. "Just give me a minute," Amber said as the rest of her friends got on Bucky. Amber and Alberto stood close to each other. "Is this goodbye?" Alberto asked her. That's when Amber gave a Alberto a big bear hug. "I don't wanna leave you," Amber cried into Alberto. She stopped hugging Alberto looking sad. Alberto smiled and lifted her chin up. "Hey, look at me, you know I'll always love you, no matter where we live," Alberto told her. Amber gave Alberto a passionate kiss and he did the same to her. Once they separated, Amber said one last thing while holding Alberto's hands. "Promise you won't forget me?" she asked. "I promise, princess," he told her. Jake rang Bucky's bell. "Come on lovebirds! We don't have all day!" James called out. Amber waved goodbye. "Ciao Amber!" Alberto called out to her and blew her a kiss. "Ciao Alberto!" Amber waved back on Bucky. Once Amber and friends disappeared into the mist, Alberto and Massimo walked back to their place.
As time went on, Alberto, Luca, and Giulia hung out and Alberto chatted about Amber. Giulia thought it was cute and Luca was very interested in how Amber was royalty. Amber on the other hand still thought about Alberto and told her family and friends about her adventures with him. One day, King Rowland and Queen Miranda sat down to chat with Amber. They gave Amber a green amulet just like Sofia's as a special gift. Amber thanked her parents but was still sad about Alberto. Miranda and Rowland looked at each other and smiled. "You know Amber, you are old enough to make your own decisions. You can either stay here or...you can live with Alberto and Massimo," King Rowland told her. Miranda smiled. "It's your choice, honey," she said. Amber thought for a minute, smiled, and hugged her parents. "Thank you thank you thank you!" Amber squealed. She ran into Sofia and Jake. "Amber! A letter from Portorosso showed up! I think it's from you know who," Sofia winked. Amber quickly grabbed the letter, rushed to her room, and read it:
Dear Amber,
Things in Portorosso are great! Giulia and Luca are back from vacation and they would love to meet you! Also, I haven't seen Ercole. Good thing Kenny scared him off! I wonder where he'll end up. Anyways, I really miss you and I hope you can visit Portorosso again. Ciao!

Amber squeezed the letter close to her heart. She quickly wrote a letter back and then started packing her things. The next day, her family and friends threw a royal sendoff to Amber. She gave everyone a hug. "James, take care of Enchancia and Sofia and Jake, I hope I see you guys around," Amber smiled and got on the floating palace. She waved goodbye to everyone and everyone waved goodbye to her. Once everyone said goodbye, Jake, Sofia, James, and Santiago, sat and chatted. "So that amulet that Amber has, how does it work?" Santiago asked. Sofia smiled, "She'll find out," Sofia beamed.
