Heeseung's POV:
I open my eyes to a bright sunny morning and a loud alarm sound going around me. I stay in my position for a couple seconds just trying to get my brain working.
I finally look around and see the roof of my room. How did I get here? All I remember is, looking at the painting and maybe drinking a bit more but that's it.
I finally feel the pain kicking in and feel my forehead throbbing with pain and I feel like I'm gonna throw up by even thinking about food.
I hold my mouth shut and I finally realize our bell is has been ringing for the whole time I've been in my thoughts.
I lift my glued body from the cold bedsheets and make my way towards the door. I look over at the living room expecting a total mess but it's actually pretty neat and clean.
I think about it, trying to remember but I get more pain my forehead if I use the few braincells I have.
"Yes?" I say as I crack the door open, as the sun hits my face like a slap from the door.
"Hi, I'm your new maid. Pleased to meet you Mr. Lee." she says while bowing. I realize she's a pretty young woman, maybe her mid 20's, max 30.
"Oh come in." I say while opening the door for her, realizing how hot the sunlight is on my face.
"So sorry for not opening the door sooner. What's your name?" I ask while helping her with her bags that look like just cleaning supplies and stuff.
"Oh you don't have too..." she mumbles as I walk to the kitchen counter with her stuff.
"My name is Jeonghee. Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Lee." she says making me shudder.
"Call me Heeseung. No need for this formal stuff. And did you read the terms and conditions thoroughly? I really don't want anyone getting hurt by my father again." I say while sighing. It's a shame these woman need to go through these things for money.
I wish I could pay them to leave so they don't have to even associate with my disgusting father.
"Y-Yes. I'm ready. Me and my kids have been struggling so I need this job." she says while looking down and ashamed. Oh. She has kids?
"I'm so sorry. My father is usually not home, so you don't have to worry too much. And if he tries to do anything please tell me." I say while smiling although this is a sad matter.
"Oh okay. And I forgot to say, this was at the door." she says while handing me a small wrapped box with a bow on it.
I hesitantly open it and realize it smells like lavender. Chaewon.
I quickly see it's a box of bandages and ointment with no card or note. I smile at it and realize I don't even know what time it is and I have classes today.
"What time is it Jeonghee-sshi?" I ask while staring at her.
"Oh. Uhm it's 10:15am." she says making me gasp and rub my burning headache.
"Shit I have class. And Jeonghee-sshi please don't clean my room or my father's. And if you finish early please just go home and rest." I say while running to my room to grab my bag.
There's no time to wash up so I just change and put on a cologne I found on my dresser. I quickly run out and see the ointment and bandage on the counter and I think about it and decide to use it.
I hurriedly put on the ointment on my cheek and put the a bandage on my nose. I run out the house with my keys and realize there's a car parked outside on our driveway that's definitely not my father's.
