The Lost Ones

Chapter 16

The rest of the night went by pretty slowly. The party was now coming to an end and we were leaving. I got into the limo and sat down next to a window with a sigh. Everyone took their seats and Mr. Kim closed the door. 

“Raven” Mr. Kim called me. 

“Yes?” I said looking over at him. 

“You embraced me in front of Iseul.” Mr.Kim said coldly. “We are trying to get them on our side and you tell me you have a boyfriend.” Mr. Kim said as he was about to explode. “I want you to break up with him and get together with Iseul.” Mr Kim said. 

“As if I would ever do that” I said.

“You are to break up with whatever disappointment of a boyfriend you have and that is an order!” Mr Kim yelled. 

“I am not yours to control. I am not going to listen to someone I met a week ago” I said leaning back into my seat. 

“You are my daughter and you obey me!” Mr. Kim yelled.

“No,” I said calmly.

Mr. Kim jumped to attack me but was held back by Taehyng, Suga and Jin. I sat there feeling my anxiety rising in me. Once he was calm he sat down next to my mom and she looked scared for me. 

“Pull over!” Mr. Kim said. 

Once the car came to a complete stop he looked at me.

“Get out. You're walking home as your punishment.” Mr. Kim said. 

“Hun but we are an hour away by car.” Mom said. 

“Break up with your boyfriend or walk home” Mr. Kim siad. 

I got up from my seat and walked out of the car. I looked at him before closing the door.

“Over my dead body” I said and closed the door. 

The car then took off and just like that I was there standing with my heels in hand and started my walk home. 

I was walking and stopped by a 711. I opened the door and walked through the store in my ball gown looking through the Isles. The door opened and there was a mother with her kid. 

“Mom, look there is a princess!” she said and walked up to me. 

“Hi, how are you?” I asked. 

“Are you a princess?” she asked. Looking at me with big eyes. 

“Yes I am, I have a big castle and many dresses.” I lied to her. 

“Some one Sun hee we have to go” The mom said, calling for her kid.

“Bye!” Sun Hee said as he walked out the door and left with her mom. 

I sighed and walked over to the register with water only to realize I didn’t have my bag on me. 

“Shit” I said and looked at the cash register. “Sorry I have no money. I will just go” I said and walked out of the store. 

I started making my way home. It was dark and I was in the middle of nowhere. I took off my heels and realized I also forgot my slippers. 

“Just great.” I say quietly to myself.

It was cold and I heard thunder in the sky. Looking at my watch it was 11:28pm. I still have aways to go.

‘I continued my journey home and it started to sprinkle a little. Time 12:45 am’

‘Time 1:24 am the little sprinkle turned into heavy rain. I am still making my way home. I am now cold and soaking wet in this rain. To make things better I still have miles to go.’

‘Time is 2:34 am. The rain is still going and I am freezing. I can almost see my breath in this weather. Onwards I must go’

‘Time 5:23 am. The rain did stop for a while. The dress is now really heavy and covered in mud. I can feel my heartbeat pulsing in my feet.’

‘7:58 am. ….’

‘9:45 am I am closer to the house. I am about an hour if not less away from the house. My feet feel like they are going to fall off. It started raining again about an hour ago. Why am I doing this again…..’

‘10:25 am I can see the gates to the house. I am almost there…’

I walked to the door and opened it. I looked inside and saw everyone on the couch watching a movie. I walked inside not caring if I made a mess and closed the door. I walked over to the stairs and no one noticed me. To be honest that hurt. 

I made my way upstairs and into my room. I closed the door behind me and started to take off this heavy dress. I walked into the restroom and took a nice warm shower. I dried myself off and walked over to the window. I closed the window and walked over to my bed and layed down. I lay there and I feel my back tense up from all the walking. Before I knew it I was asleep from exhaustion.
