The Lost Ones

Chapter 39

“Guys come on we are going to be late!” Katherine yelled from downstairs.

I walked out of my room grabbing an apple and walked out of the house with footsteps behind me. I jumped into this school bus of a car making my way to the back. I sat down as I saw everyone else make their way inside the car. Yoongi took the driver's seat after losing rock, paper scissors with Katherine.

“Everyone in?” Yoongi asked.

“I sure as hell hope so,” Jimin said.

Yoongi started to drive to school making our way down the road. Music was playing and everyone was having conversations of their own. Katherine, Abby, Ash and Tyson all were going to be the new kids on the block. Yoongi parked, turning the car off and taking his seat belt off.

“I feel like we are the clown car” I said laughing as everyone was making their way out of the car.

We all walked out of the car, looking around to see students staring at us.

“Okay kids let's go,'' Jin said.

We walked through the halls making our ways to our lockers.

“So why the Lost Boys?” Jae asked as she was waiting for me beside my locker.

“What do you mean?” I asked with a chuckle.

“The name?” Jae said, leaning against the locker.

“Ah, that.” I said taking a  book out. “Well when we were kids we would still read stories and Peter Pan resonated with me. A man who was taking children to a so-called Neverland to never see their families again.” I said.

“So the Lost Boys are the kids who were taken,” Jae said, grasping the idea. “I don't get it hto Peter Pan is the good guy,” she continued.

“In the original books he was the villain. Taking children promising them everything and would later sacrifice them for his youth. Captain Hook was trying to get the kids away from Peter Pan in hopes to bring them back home.” I said closing my locker.

“You guys really thought about it huh?” Jae asked.

“Yeah, I mean there was time,” I said laughing. “Come on, we have to get to our classes now” I said.

Classes went by pretty smoothly as I hoped it would. An assignment was passed around. I started to work on it until my phone vibrated on the desk.

What's up my lovely people.

Namjoon:
Where should we eat lunch?

Jimin:
The roof?

Jae:
Oh that sound nice especially with the weather right now

Katherine:
The roof it is

I put my phone down smiling as I finished my assignment. The bell rang. I grabbed my things and walked out of the classroom making my way to the roof. Opening the door and walking on the roof. I threw my bag on the ground and I walked to the railing leaning against it looking at the sky. I heard the door open and laughter filled the air.

“Come on you think i'm that stupid?” Jungkook asked. “Nevermind don’t answer that” He said quickly before someone could say anything.

I turned around walking over to them, taking a seat on the ground listening to them argue about nothing.

“Come on, you can't think that Piatro would go with Iron Man. I mean Wanda went with Captain America and he is bound to go with her '' Jimin said.

“I’m just saying that he would go with Iron man to protect his sister,” Jungkook said.

“Okay who do you guys think he would go with?” Jimin asked everyone around.

“That's a tough one,” Abby said, taking a bite of her food.

Jimin looked at me as if he was trying to get me on his side.

“Don’t bring me into this” I said, raising my hands defensively.

SJImin and Jungkook started to argue more about him.

“Okay! I’m shutting that debate down” I said.

“Isn’t it crazy how all of this started a  month ago?” Yoongi said.

“Whoa, I was thinking about that last night,” Taehyung said. “Like how all of this started because Dad liked a woman,” he continued.

“Like if he didn’t like her then we would still be with him right now and doing who knows what” Hoseok said.

Asher laid his head on my lap and I started to mess with his hair as I listened to everyone talk.

“It’s funny how things work,” Abby said. “You guys would still be looking for us and we would still be hiding from everyone.”

“Even for us all of this truly started a while ago and ended into this.” Kathine said.

“Would you go back and do it again?” I asked, looking at everyone.

Everyone looked at me then started to think for a moment.

“Yeah I would,” Jae said. “You would have kicked my ass,” Jae said laughing.

Everyone started to smile at the thought.

“I would do it again.” Jimin said. “I was able to find myself in the process. Now I feel like I am me. No one else just…me” He said.

“I have to agree with that. I finally feel happy” Jungkook said.

“I would and the best part is that I feel like I am part of a family even if my brothers aren’t my real brothers.” Hoseok said. 

“This is too sentimental for me. Can we go back to making fun of jungkook?” Yoongi asked.

Jungkook raised his hands in the air giving a what the fuck look. Jae grabbed her phone and started to ]play some music. We all started to sing like there was no one around. Jae grabbed a water bottle pretending it was a microphone with Abby joining her. As the girls had their concert the boys were pretending to be fanboys and started to sing with them.

I laughed as I watched all of this smiling at my new family that we were able to create. I was smiling at the new beginning we had and we were not going to let it slip away.
