The Lost Ones

Chapter 3

There were sirens blaring red. I was hiding behind a wall and I hear footsteps coming closer.

"Come out darling. I know you want to play."

It was Gryffin. He was trying to find me. I held the knife in my hands and tried to stay as quiet as I possibly could.

"Come out, come out wherever you are"

I covered my mouth with my hands till I hear nothing. The footsteps stop. I peek over the corner and saw no one was there. I let out a breath of relief.

"Boo"

I turned around and there he was. He reached down and grabbed my neck.

I wake up startled at my dream. I reached for my neck to try and take his hand off only to realize no one was there. I sat down getting myself together.

I went to the restroom to do my morning routine. I walked out of the restroom and made my way to the balcony. I looked at the view. It was miles of nothing but trees.

"Huh that is definitely not creepy. It's like a horror movie." I say to myself.

I closed my eyes and felt the breeze. It was colder here. I took a deep breath of air. It was still kind of dark. You could still see the moon in the sky and the sun was barely starting to rise.

"I miss you" I say looking up at the sky.

Time had passed and I made my way inside my room not forgetting to close the door behind me. I walked downstairs and made myself some coffee and decided to go outside. There were more trees surrounding this house.

"What are these guys werewolves?" I say laughing at my own joke. I saw a table under some shade. I sat just enjoying being outside. "Oh how I miss you guys" I say looking down at my coffee. I brought my cup up in a motion as if was saying cheers.

I was drinking my coffee when I heard something in the woods. I turned my head and saw a baby bunny peeking around a bush. I got a piece of bread and tossed it to the bunny. I see the bunny take the bread and go back into the woods.

"There they go back into the woods. Heh, I like that musical." I say chuckling to myself and humming the opening song. I then see my phone ring on the table. I see that my mom is calling.

"Hello"

"Come inside it's time for breakfast," she said.

"Alright, i'll be there in a minute okay"

"Okay" with that she hung up.

I grabbed my things and went inside. I went inside and got to the backyard and saw the kitchen. I looked around and saw everyone at the table.

"Sorry I'm late" I said as I walked into the house and closed the door behind me. I took my seat and started to drink soem of my coffee.

"Okay now that everyone is here. We have an announcement" Mr. Kim stated.

"We are getting married in two weeks." Mom said and I choked on my drink. I take a drink of my water. I looked around and ignored the weird looks my so-called brothers were giving me. I noticed that I was the only one shocked.

"How long have you known this?" I asked, looking back at my mother.

"Well for a couple of months now-" mom said, trying to make it seem like it was no big deal.

"Wait, so you mean to tell me you knew about this for years and you didn't think to tell me?" I am frustrated at the situation and hurt that she didn't tell me.
