The Day That Was - I Heard A Rumor

" Who the hell is Harold Jenkins?" 

" I don't know. Yet. But I do know he is responsible for the apocalypse. So we have to find him. And we have to do it now."

" How is he connected? How's it gonna happen?"

" I don't know." 

" Wait, so you just know his name? That's it?" 

" That's enough." 

" There's probably dozens of Harold Jenkins's in the city." 

" Yeah, but we do know John Jenkins so we need to start there. We need to get John's family information." 

" Well we better start looking right now then." 

" Okay so where do we start then Five?" 

" I'm thinking we get Harold's files. But since you know a John, we need to get both."

" I have John's somewhere in the bank. We go there, I pick that up, and then we go to the station and me and Diego get Harold's. That way we save time." 

" Good idea. Come on let's go." 

" I'm sorry am I the only one who's skeptical about this? I mean, how exactly do you know all of this about what's his name?"

" Harold Jenkins. You know those lunatics in masks who attacked the house?"

" Oh, yeah, I think I remember those guys." 

" Do you mean the ones that crushed my wedding or the pizza delivery guys?" 

" Yeah, the ones that attacked us while you were getting drunk."

" Yeah. Them. They were sent by the Temps Commission to stop me from coming back and preventing the end of life on Earth." 

" The Temps what?" 

" Five's former employer. The handler, They monitor all of time and space to make sure that the timeline doesn't get altered. Side note it's also run by my mother."

" They believe the apocalypse is coming in three days. So I went to commission headquarters and intercepted a message that was meant for said lunatics." 

" Hold on. Couldn't they find out about this via the infinite switchboard, shouldn't we, I don't know, be more private about this." 

" They won't look for us in that way right now. Back to Jenkins. He must be responsible for the apocalypse." 

Diego, Allison, Luther and Klaus remained silent looking more confused than me when taking a chemistry test until they started bombarding us with questions and Diego said to go kill Hazel and Cha Cha. 

" We need to talk. ASAP." I whisper in Five's ear. 

" About what?" 

" In private." 

" Alright everyone calm down." 

" Do you have any idea how insane this sounds?" 

" You know what else is insane? I look like a 13-year-old boy. Klaus talks to the dead, Y/n is for some reason getting more powers by the second and Luther thinks he's fooling everybody with that overcoat. Everything about us is insane. It always has been." 

" He's got a point there." 

" We didn't choose this life we're just living it. For the next three days anyway." 

" But the last time we tried to stop it, we all died. Why is this time any different? Why shouldn't go home to my daughter?" 

" Because this time, I'm here. We have the name of the man responsible. Guys, we actually have the chance of saving the lives of billions of people. Including Claire."
