(The Hall)
The Hall remained in silence after the very awkward conversation that had occured between the father and son. Not to mention how both of them reassured each other.
They could feel all the love from the screen.
Orme on the other hand, looked around, seeing that everyone was staying silent, he decided to continue with vision.
The vision changed now showing Gobber, who opened the gates to the kill ring.
"Welcome." Gobber speaks while gesturing towards the massive arena with his prosthetic hook. "To the dragon training." He gives them a smile.
And Hiccup and several other felt chill up his spine.
The new recruits are waiting, eager to enter and few in numbers.
Valka's eyes suddenly widened.
"They didn't survive?" She asked in a hushed tone.
"They didn't." Phlegma replied. The rest wanted to ask questions but remained silent as Orme continued with the vision.
"No turning back." Astrid says to herself with the scowl that was more or less, her signature.
"When do you smile, exactly?" Hiro suddenly asked and the Vikings silence themselves and looked towards the brave and foolish child.
Few got ready to prepare for the funeral.
Few gave it to the kid, who dared asked something, that nobody ever asked.
Few prayed that she wouldn't kill him.
And Anya and Arek cringed before the later pulled out his loud speaker and Orme handed Elsa a headphone who was little lost bit he told her how too, Athena, Anya, Sandy and Artemis, followed by Bunny, Tooth, Baby Tooth, North and the Baby Corps did the same pulling a head phone from beneath the seats, and doing the same!
"Seriously people, we are higher beings!" Arek shouted through the loud speaker, as the prayers silenced and people began to rub their ears. "Right now!"
"Arek." Orme grumbled from his place and Arek put down his speaker.
"Ahem!" Arek coughed as he looked at the people and the one wearing the headphones removed theirs. "As I was saying, right now, you are in our home, and unlike big brother there, we do not know how to filter things out properly, so when you guys began, praying, as you call it, you did nothing but shout some gibberish at us without proper wordings, some were even without context!" He pointed towards the people. "So please, if you want something, ask directly, don't throw random words at us."
"Also she won't be killing him." Anya reassured the Vikings. "Anything else?"
"You need anything?" Orme on the other hand asked Elsa who was sitting beside him. She looked down for a moment, before she spoke up.
"I would like that hot chocolate is that what's it called?" Elsa asked and Orm nodded his head and next thing she knew there was a cup in her hand with the said drink. "Thank you." He just shrugged his shoulder, before Anya, this time, began the vision.
The view pans around to show the entire arena, first from the inside, then from above. It's grimly magnificent.
"It certainly seems like it." Ted Templeton who has been silent with the rest of the Corps finally muttered.
The location where thousands of Vikings have learned to fight their sworn enemies with burns, blood and broken bones. A metallic net is spread over the top of the circular arena to prevent the dragons from escaping, and a wooden walkway surrounds it, stabilized on the rocks below. A wooden bridge leads to the road to the village.
